Help me understand please. Indian PCC is already sent which was issued say 10 days before application receipt (sometime in last week of May). By the time the application is transferred to the VO, the PCC would already have crossed the 3 months restriction, in that case why would the US PCC be considered expired when it would be issued after the application was submitted to CIC and after India PCC was issued?
Is it that Indian PCC would be checked by CIC officers and the US one by VO officers?
Won't the VO demand for a new Indian PCC as it would be expired by the time our application reaches VO?

Sorry if I have made this confusing but I am trying to think of various permutations and combinations.

They can again ask for Indian PCC as by the time file is transfered to VO its expired...

CIC will not provide any acknowledgement or receipt. First news you 'll ever hear from them will be about a PER over email if everything is fine.

You can call or email them your queries.

So u stay somewhere near mehrauli.... Paid ur taxes ontime.... Have travelled On Indian railways last month.... Shopped on ebay... Uffffff bz life " so much to do?.. And probably have HDFC bank CC

Thanks canadasuperb for replying. But now I am kind of loosing hope if I am going to be in the 300 cap. The wait is really killing there has been no activity on our NOC since 5/30. On top of all this, CIC call center agent is also not ready to give any information. I wonder how others are getting UCI#

Just DON'T mention that you need any info on status of ur application or anything like that when you call .. just request that u r calling in to check for your client id so that you can correspond with CIC or check status online as it has been more than 10 weeks since the application was sent out without any revert...

U will surely get ur UCI ( unless it is ur bad day and the agent who talks to u had a fight with his wife 8) )
