Dear Friends,
i have got the 8 digit identification number(UCI) through the CIC call centre on Aug 12-2013
I have filed under 1112 -noc code & application reached on June 4-2013
I have tried entering the 8 digit number through the IVR but the call gets transferred to the call center agent & the agent says she does not have access to any data(tried atlest 8 times after I got the UCI)
I tried checking on ECAS but no data is available.(Checked on ECas for atleast 10 times).
What inference should i draw from the UCI number????The consultant through whom i have applied says UCI number is a number which every file is allocated.Consultant says wait for two more weeks.
With 1112 quota hitting 278 as of Aug 12 -2013 what are the chances of making in top 300 .....

It's too early for any results to be available for your application. CIC is still working on applications from May. Since 1112 is very close to reaching the cap, it's very difficult to say if your application will be included or not. You will just have to wait and see and hope for the best. Good luck.

How can we know that file is transfered to local visa office?

I received PER mail on 15/07/2013
but still not received any information
regarding transfer of file to local visa office i.e. NDVO

Have you checked your status on ECAS? what does it shows?

Well, i think you will receive an email from NDVO shortly.. well that just my assumption.
I am in a similar situation and awaiting further communication from NDVO. Good luck and keep the forum posted on updates and i will do the same.. cheers

hey geekaye, did u get ur PER mail b4 or after this mail? coz i have got the same mail on August 07 (after 18th day of my sending mail asking about my status info)except the last line "application.....". I have not got PER yet, though i have my ecas status showing "in process".

Hi niknik, i emailed CIO last July 19; I received my PER last July 25; and just got CIO's reply to my follow-up August 15 (Philippine time).

my application was received by CIC (signed by dexter) on June 26th under NOC 2174. I emailed cio-inquiry and here's the reply i got :

"I can find no record of our office having received your submission. If it was received within the past 10 weeks, it maybe in queue for initial processing.

Thank you

from this statement its clear that all the application uptil jun or july will be counted towards the cap. May CIC was busy sending acknowledgements for May application until last week and now they are going to send acknowledgements to the next 113 applicants.

no need to worry if you don't fall under the cap, quebec program is open. french is no big deal if you want to get to Canada.

CC charged on 14th Aug. My application was delivered on 30 May(Receiver : Dexter, Time : 10:15 am) and NOC 2132.
Now I'm working in Canada having Post Graduated Work Permit but my agency is in Korea so my visa office is Manila in Philippine.
I know my next step is to get PER so still I have to wait few more days.
I have UCI No. but no information of me on website.
After PER, what is next?
I just wonder how long will take to get PR cause my work permit will be expired in the middle of JUN in 2014.

Hey .. you should not at all worry about your expiring work permit. Hav'nt you heard about Bridging Work Permit. I think you should apply for this one in March '14 since you qualify !!

Yup it will take few days before WES updates on your account.
To me it took 5 days, after my courier had confirmed that documents have been deliverd.
