my application was received on july 17 applicant ...i don't think i will make it in the cap... sudden spike in the numbers and looking at the excel sheet the number of people who have confirmed fee encashed has reduced to 30% so for 2174 and 1112 next update would be the last update

Don't give up, things has changed quiet a bit with the way they work this year. You will never know until you get a definite answer

I didn't even bother with all this, I just bought a Canadian Birth Certificate from someone and then applied for a passport, It costed me 500 dollars. The guy I got it from was someone named Jann. I payed 500 through western union and after 2 days I got my Canadian documents and flew here with no issues. Dont waste your time applying through the government. They wont help you if your Chinese. Jason Kenney is a racist.

My cc was charged on 12th may and I havent received a PER. If i call up CIC they say its was received on may 1 and so does the ECAS shows..Should i consider it a positive review.

They didnt tell me the exact status of my file but just that they received it on May 01.

Note: I dont fall under FSWP 2013 category since my application was received before may 04

Call cic @ 16139444000-- IVR 1-1-2-1-2-1 ( When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then you will get transferred to a agent and ask him for the UCI. I believe you should wait at least 10 weeks though. They get irritated otherwise. Good luck

After getting UCI

Call to cic number and follow the IVR (112-121). In last IVR system ask you to enter your UCI, once you enter your UCi, if system directs you directly to agent without any announcement it's means your payment is not encashed yet and if after entering your UCI, you listen the announcement like " your application has received on xxx day" it's means you have been charged now wait for the PER

Its not that easy dude and we have heard lot of scams like these. I know people have started to loose hope bcoz of the recent cap update. YOu should not be suggesting anything like this which sounds more of a scam.

Sorry for a very late response and a gap of 2 weeks from the forum

I received an acknowledgement of the application from NDVO on July 30th.

Hope all other forum members got their confirmation too.
