Not for me. I actually dropped by the Singapore visa office last week to have a look - the lady at the counter told me they would not send out AOR this time - if they want to request something, they will contact us. This is quite new because Singapore VO sent out AOR last year. I am not sure whether that lady really knew how things work this year as at first she did not seem to understand what I was talking about when I mentioned about NOC, AOR, PER...

I found I left some questions blank. For example, in the Supplementary Information - Your travels form, I dont answer the question for child information because i dont have a child yet. will this cause my application returned?

Lets wait and see... If they will not send AOR, seems first request will be PCC. Goodluck bro.

Hope we also have thread for Singapore VO applicants.

i dont think dat shud b a problem.. dont panic .. relax n wait fo ur PER :)

It "CAN" create problem if "THEY" want to. The problem is, they have asked to fill all the fields no matter what. IF it DOES NOT apply to you, you should have wrote NOT APPLICABLE for which they have clearly told in the guide.

Anyway, I hope it goes through because sometimes, they are very picky.

Hi Huys.. I just called up CIC call center and the lady gave me my UCI number ... When I try to log in for status it says that the UCI should be in format 1234-5678....

Problem: she gave me a 9 digit UCI which I confirmed from her by repeating... DId I get it wrong????

you made a big mistake man!!! as 0 is numeric word and "o" is an alphabet. If you remember, after validating your form, it generated bar-codes which contain all your form details encrypted. They read your form contents by scanning these bar-codes. so their scanner will read your passport number as you wrote. i.e. alphabet. This is a major mistake my friend. Please resend your application form ASAP if possible. Hope you get out of this mess very soon...
How do I return my form as they have not studied my application?
I have no number UCI.

Hello everybody,

I just realized that I made a small typo in my form.
For my passport number, I wrote an "O" instead of "0".
Do you think this could be bad for my case?

You can't do anything about it right now. IF your application goes through, and you get a UCI, then you'll have to notify about this mistake with passport copy and updated forms to the local visa office. They'll let you know what to do next.

Sending another set of application is another idea, but I haven't seen your NOC or your date of application sent, but if it's recent, then you can send, but if it's near charging dates, than leave it as is.

IF you already have UCI, then you should send the updated documents to CIO ASAP.

The Application Number is 9 digits (but is prefixed with a letter E). Could be that?

Is it UCI or application number? What are starting 2 digits ?

It does not matter. Even if the passport no is wrong. You will not get rejected at CIC now becoz of the wrong passport number. .. thats for sure.. :D Relax. When u get a PER and your file is tranfrred to the VO , you can update your info. Passport No can even change while your file is in process... ( like pages finished, new passport issued ) .. Relax and good luck ;)
