I think it is not just about the qualification, but your academic documents will also help them validate about you and your activities in last ten years. I sent all of my credentials (as suggested by the consultant). You will get your education point from WES report.

Can you give me any advice if I need to send them my bachelor degree and give an explanation on the coversheet? Is there any possibility that they will put my bachelor credential into my application?

My application reached on 1oth of May but CC has not been charged. I have received reply of my email within 20 business days from CIC, asking some details i.e. name as on passsport and DOB which I have provided. I am awaiting the response.

I am 27 May applicant. No news whatsoever yet :( Emailed CIC on 27 July, no response yet :'(

To the administrators,

Can you please change the name of the forum to something more popular like "Federal Skilled Worker 2013" or use similar wordings as public notices or whatsoever that you as computer engineers and developers know so that it can easily be found by searching in google. That way we can attract more applicants. The current name does not help to easily locate it by searching unless you already know the name.

I would advise you to mail them. Even if it takes 20 working day, you will have a definite answer.
Not in all cases. Some have very bad luck like me, waiting since 35 days.

I don't mind when people get very well paid for doing the GOOD job. I am glad for them. They deserve it.

But when mediocre footballers or clerks, does't matter, which are doing their work poorly, demand! bigger salary, just because somebody gets more, this is beyond my comprehension. :-\

Honestly, these CIC guys are doing the worst service in the world! I don't know any country in the world where visa application time is so lengthy, even least developed countries like Zimbabwe or N.Korea (no offense) process their visa applications much faster.

Canada is the only country in the world where regular visit visa issued in 2 month!!!, where people are waiting many years just for processing their immigration applications and after many years of waiting got their applications back because some clerks screw their job, for which they receive very nice salaries all these years.

I don't know any country where minister cancels immigration programs for a year completely, just because his clerks working too slow.
It's pathetic. >:(

I decided to email the PAFSO team for an update on the strike and if it will affect us or not. Here is the transcript:

Dear PAFSO,
I completely understand your cause for striking.
I was wondering if you could let me know if this strike affect applicants under Federal Skilled Worker Program?
Regards,

to me, media

Mr. XXXXX,

Foreign Service Officers working in the immigration stream have been withdrawing services in Delhi and other Canadian missions in India. While this action does not mean that the entire office is closed, it does mean a significant increase in processing times for all types of visa applications.

We are unable to answer case specific inquiries. You can however learn how to lodge an inquiry at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp
Or if you have an immigration application in progress in Canada you may contact the CIC Call centre at 1-888-242-2100 or by e-mail at: question@cic.gc.ca

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and wish you luck with your visa application.

Regards,

Chrystiane Roy

I have received my spouse's IELTS certificate after i had sent our application to CIC-CIO. Can any one guide me when, where and how do i inform/send this detail to them so that it can add another 5 points for adaptability ?
Awaiting an early response to this query. Thanks.

Dear All,
I am an Indian applicant and have Credit Card related query.
I have provided the details of SBI Credit Card to CIC. I have also talked to the Customer Care of SBI Credit Card and told them about the international transaction. The customer care executive told me that as long as the trasnaction is within limit, there should not be any issue in the international trasnaction. However, I have seen cases where the attempt by CIC to charge the card was declined by Banks, even after prior communication.
Is there anything else that I should do - any specific step particularly related to SBI Credit Card.

thanks

YOu already have 72 points.. you can send the IELTS certificate for your spouse with a cover letter.. but chances are less that they would search your application and then calculate your points..you'll risk loosing your certificate as well

If your points were 67 or greater during the application stage, it is worthless sending the spouse's IELTS results as it will not make any difference to your application.
