I just got a SMS from bank that my CC got charged 1100$, it seems CIC keep working on weekend.
Administrator,please update my information: got charged on 10/08/2013.

BTY, my NOC is 2174. My docs reach on 29/05/2013,it seems 2174 has not reached CAP yet.

I found the below from one of the replies at wordpress blog:

Call at – 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback.

let us know the outcome of ur call.

As an FSW applicant the requirement is that passport should be valid for atleast a year I think..

Hi Guys, this is somehow not related with the thread, I just want to get your experience, ideas... Can I use valid Canadian temporary visitor's visa's from old passports? I applied for a new passport recently since we must have passports valid for at least 6 months on the date of travel. Thanks in advance.

COngrats!! thats a good news and confirming that CIC is rolling faster for NOC 2174
although not as fast as for the first few weeks
We are hoping that cap shouldn't reach for all applicants in the forum!! pray for us !! LOL

Admins, please update my DD encashed date is 29th July.
I tried logging into ECAS with my UCI number but I got error message "We could not recognize you with the details provided"
Is this normal, should I wait for some more time to see my status online?

Good to hear .. this is consistent with the other 23rd may applicants of CC mode paymetns..

I would expect the cap update soon! This is for the end of May update and will give us an idea how many weeks for 2174 will it still be open... That is relative to the bulk of applicants per month as per spreadsheet.

You can travel with a valid visa stamped on previous passport provided it is attached with the new one. This is an international rule and is not unique to Canadian temporary visa.
