Folks,

I have received my application back today.

I made a mistake of putting my primary occupation as Lecturer in Schedule 3 Form Page 3 which is my current occupation. Even though underneath I am showing my experience in 2243.
I think CIC are very strict and they look for any small mistake to return application. May be in my case it was a big mistake.

They have returned all my originals. I was hoping that they will keep my IELTS which expired on May 19, 2013. Now if I want to reapply I first need to take IELTS.

Hi!

Could anyone answer for my question?
If CIO issued file number for an application, does this mean the application was passed PER requirement already?

I heard from my friend who got a file number from CIO email answer for inquiry, but he has not received PER email.
And CIO said the file with CIO and will contact again.
If so, I wonder why he has not received PER email yet.

Any idea?

For those who are in USA and need PCC from FBI can visit following site

I believe they provide FBI check in 1-2 days (if everything is normal) instead of 5-6 weeks.
I am planning to use their service.

Hi spartans,

File number does not mean the application passed PER requirement...Once ur DD or cc is charged ...take it for granted (at least as of FSW 2013) that u got PER....just 1-2 days here and there when compared to others...
