I've just double-checked my payment form ... it seems that i have filled both the "name of principal applicant" and "name of payer" with my name (the principal applicant). I have not filled the payer address, seeing how it's not applicable ...

Could this be a problem ?

Thank you!

In my understanding . it should not be a problem ..

As I came to know from my research, you need to send the following:-

1) Notarized copy of baby's Birth Certificate;
2) Notarized Copy of baby's Passport;
3) The second page of IMM0008; dependent information
4) Application fee - $150 (you can pay online and send receipt no DD required)
5) 4 photos of baby (name, dob, date of taken on the back)
6) Cover letter to inform CIC the birth of child - Mention your file number
7) Additional Family information (IMM 5406) form(s) - Your and your spouse with details of baby
8) Proof of funds - it is a must.

However, please reconfirm.
No need for notarized copies.

As per the mail received from VO, Simple photocopies are enough, Notarized are not required. As per VO email, they need the following:

1. Updated Generic IMM0008 Form
2. Updated Additional Family Information IMM 5406 - Both for you and your spouse
3. Copy (not notarized) of Baby Birth Certificate
4. Copy (not notarized) of Baby Passport
5. Four (4) Photographs of baby
6. Application Fee $150

Thats it....nothing else required. Nothing mentioned in the VO email about proof of Funds. However, this may be required if your funds/assets as per your previous bank statements were below the new required funds.

I noticed that your mode of payment is DD, which is of course taking more time to get confirmation. Perhaps you should try getting information about your DD with your bank.

They will definitely ask for an updated proof of funds IF they were for two persons when applied. If you showed extra which can cover up to 3 or 4 people, then they will not require an updated proof.

However, it is good if you send them fresh copy in order to avoid any such delays later on.

@JBZZS, Do you have any idea when your file was transferred to London Visa Office so that we will update it in the tracker.

Funds required for 3 people are $17011. I provided more than this in my application that I sent to CIO. So, in my case I think I dont need to re-attach proof of funds.

why don't you just wait? You will not speed the things up. No action can make a difference now. If your package is to be returned, it will be returned. If it is meant to be processed, then it will be.
First of all - calm down :-)

VO did not provide the info whether they have received my file or not. I asked them in my query that what documents are required for adding a new child and they sent me generic reply with list of documents.

I dont know if I should send the additional docs now or should I wait sometime.

Yes, it may be the case as we discussed earlier also.

There is one more indication to this point, the update page's title is "Applications we will accept" - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp :)

it should stand "Applications we will accept into consideration". That is all.

Dear Azad bro
