I also am getting my inspiration by seeing your case. I have sent my application which was received on 29th July. But I missed my Background declaration form of my spouse to be sent with the application package.

I have resent this document with a cover letter on 1st of August and hoping that they attach the two packages and consider my application.

I really hope that you get your PER very soon and we who are in similar sort of situation also get theirs as well.

I am also in the same situation my app reached on 13 June i mistakenly send photocopy of ECA then i send original which reached on 22 July .bt still waiting response from cic as reddevil says that he receives acknowledgment from cic so this is a positive sign for applicants like us well my best wishes r for every1 that we may get our per.

Thank you, islandbabe, I can see you have done a very good job on this fourm. FBI website indicates it now takes about 5-6 weeks for Clearance check. I will send my wife's application right away today but I am not sure it will make the 60 days deadline or not. I think I can send my explanation letter to my VO if I can't make it on deadline of this FBI thing. What do you think?

By the way, do you mind I ask if you are FSW applicant of 2013 or not?

The reason I have not share my application details on this fourm is because I don't want cause an unnecessary "disturbance" or "suspection" on the fourm. I have carefully reviewed this fourm for about 3 days now and frankly i think my case is very unexpected compare with others in here. I just want to tell you I feel shocking when I see those emails I recieved today.

So if you are interested to know my case, I would not mind to share with you personally first, just let me how, because you are the first person to help me in here.

Then it would be for your wife. If you feel the need to you can always email your VO and ask or visit if possible, but it would be for her. If they only gave you 60 days you had better rush!!!! Oh and Congrats!!!!!

I post this on the fourm but please forgive me for re-posting in here because I may really need some advices from some senior members. Today I recieved a email from my visa office to ask to take medical exams, pay RPRF fees for me and my wife in 45 days and to sumbit "the Original / Update Police Clearance Certificate (with fingerprints search/check necessary) from FBI". in 60 days.

However, in email it does not indicate which applicant (me or my wife) should send this FBI Clearance Certificate.

My questions is since my wife (spouse applicant) is the only person in my application who had spent more than 6 month time in United States in the past, can I assume this required FBI Clearance Certificate should be for her right??

Truly APPRECIATE if anyone body can give me some insights about this situation!

I just find this fourm about 4 days ago so I am still studying it but certainly I will input more of my information from now on.

I got a valid job offer from a Canadian employer but no LMO yet, do I need to inform visa office about the job offer? I got my PER in July 9.

Please advise.

4 Applicants in Chinese Forum received Medical Request from Hongkong Visa Office.

So far 4 ppl got ME in china forum, but all HK office. Not seen progress in Beijing office. Come on wake up Beijing VOs! ;D

Yes unfortunately until PER is not received nothing is sure (even after PER application can be rejected if VO has any doubt) ,
but when CC is charged , it gets counted towards the completed application , that is my understanding... :-\, ideally it should be once PER is recieved then application should be considered complete ( but nobody knows exactly what is their guidelines its not very clear from the OP manual )

only when PER is issued then email is forwarded with the language " We have received your application on XXXXX date"
which indicates that they are considering received application as a complete one. but not very clear on this .

Something is not clear to me. CIC is now charging 27/28 May applications. But many previous applications are still waiting for being charged. Why they skipped those apps. Does CIC do verification of the docs before charged. I don't think so. Cc charged doesn't mean that your application will be finally get the per. Any explanation. ..

My NOC is 1112. File recieved on 10th May. PER recieved on 11th July. Yesterday I recieved emails for medicial request plus paying RPRF fees in 45 days and submit FBI clearance in 60 days.

I thought before it give you 90 days to get FBI letter, but why now is only 60 days???

I never expect I go this so fast, and that is why I haven't mail my wife's application to FBI yet. ( I will send it today). I called FBI and they told me it will take about 5-6 weeks. But who knows, maybe I am not able to make it on 60 days so i guess i need send some explanation letter to VO later.

Do you guys have any thoughts about this?
