We are in the same boat.
We have to wait for PER or Email Reply.

This year we have not seen any case when CC was charged /DD enhanced and a person got a NER, so far it has been PER, so for now we can suggest that payment=PER )

Or just people stopped bothering about this thread/forum if, unhopefully, something negative happened to them...
However, I haven't heard of NERs after CC/DD neither, so... Hope and faith remains!

Hey randyccie, Did you ask your bank for DD encased? It should be encased till now and you should be waiting for your PER.

Dear Seniors,
Please let me know if we observe any case where amount is deducted but PER is not received. I am applicant of 21st of May with DD and my DD enchased on 29th of july which is confirmed by the bank and CIC over the phone but my ECAS status is still not found and PER is not received yet.

Please let me know if there is any case where amount is deducted but no PER received.

Dear AK2147 and all other members whose CC / DD encashed and PER is not received,

Guys, Its sure that CIC checks the completeness of application and all other details like your job description etc before charging the payment.

We have observed two cases in the forum whose applications were returned as their Job Responsibilities were not matching with their NOCs. So, before charging the payment they make sure that your application is alright from all the angles and then they go for the payment.

So, if your CC / DD encashed be sure that your file is in the que before the visa officer for signing and your PER is on the way. If you have UCI and if your ECAS shows "In process" status, you are through and your PER is on the way.

That make sense to me. They probably want to save their selves from the hassle (or extra process) of refunding the payments.

Phase: Eligibility Review

An officer at the CIO will make a final determination as to whether you meet all the eligibility criteria and your application is eligible for processing.

If your application is not eligible for processing, you will be sent a letter that:

explains the reason(s) why your application is not eligible for processing, and
confirms that a refund for the processing fee will be issued.

Thanks a lot for your detail reply. Unfortunately, my status is not updated on ECAS yet. I am feeling like waiting for PER from ages but practically this is 3rd day after DD encashment.

Yaa.. It seems like that as compared to last year this time CIC is taking more time in initial Eligibility processing...While this time ECA is readily awailable from WES with applicaiton.....

If you compare the things
they need to check only job duties and exp letter, which may take time all other I believe not time taking tasks.
lets hope CIC speedup the process of PER atleast a day for each day applications

Your ECAS will be updated in next weekly scheduled update. Check it next week.
