Hi everybody. I am here at this forum after a long time. My application was received on 22nd May, and CC got charged on 25th July .Hope to receive PER, UCI this week.
I have this curiosity to know that almost everybody got there CC charged and received there PER n UCI ,which is of course the first hurdle crossed. But don't you think the CIC is just making money by charging all applicants and then the Visa office might reject it later so that they don't have to refund the amount.I am not being pessimist but the scenario might be.

If you get rejected at your local VO, these might me the possible reasons:
1. The certificates you submitted failed its background check
2. Experience background check failed
3. Detection of any falsified information in your application
4. Improper Medical or PCC
5. No response from applicant when VO try to contact.

Other than this there will be no rejections based on not qualifying for immigration, because that's what CIC do with our application. They do preliminary check on application. If satisfied, only then they will charge.

Moreover if got rejected at your local VO, they will not just say you are rejected. They will clearly state reasons why you are rejected. If you are not satisfied by their reasons, you can appeal against their decision.

It's all myth or misleading information if anyone thinks, CIC accepts and VO reject applications just to earn some bucks.

Sounds fantastic and encouraging that ultimately CIC has re-started sending PER and website has been updated with CAPs details.

And pls share your details as I don't find you in spreadsheet. Members in this forum are working so hard to maintain spreadsheet so that everyone gets an idea about inflow and outflow of applications.

How and at what stage cic varify bank statement? by how i mean what is their tool to know if the funds are transferable and not a loan.
Would really appreciate if anyone could respond to my query.

he should get PER today or tomorrow...according to our mighty sheet...21 may got it yesterday..today 22 may starts..his DD should be already en cashed..just dont listen to bank's statement.

Why there is no cc charge for NOC 1112 after may 22nd ?....... I am a may 22nd applicant with DD under 1112 ... little tensed :'(

I called CIC yesterday. A nice lady answered the call she asked all the details and checked in the system but after sometime she said I can not find anything in system with this name . My application reached on 7th June. Is it too early to call CIC for UCI?? Any senior please answer what are the chances of making to cap my NOC is 1112.

you have to wait for your DD to get clear from bank.
wait for more 7-10 days and good news will be their.
i think u will be in cap.

I know that it is very much frustrating even when I send I didn't able to sleep. For fedex and other courier company Nova scotia is a remote area to in case of courier services delivery. Hence the package reach there in Canada in two or maximum by three days but it take 3 more days from Canada any city to nova scotia..

But still if you can Canada customer services fedex and explain them they may take step and it can reach NS a day before.

From day 1 it was showing me 7 days as delivery time..When I asked the courier person, he was assuring me that even though it shows like that it wud reach in 3 days I mailed the customer care enquiring why the hell it is taking 7 days when it is supposed to take 3...
They have replied telling that as per the tracking details it wud be delivered on Friday (that is 7 days !!)
From yesterday the courier fellow stop picking up my calls - These are the few things that make me want to emmigrate !

Pretty poor really when you consider that you can get a flight twice daily from London to Nova Scotia that takes about 6 hours.
Maybe if I get PR I could hand courier paperwork for $1000 a go ;D

I don't exactly know what you meant by funds transfer or loan for proof of funds.

First you definitely need to submit proof of funds for CIC to accept your application.
But the check will be done by local VO.
They will do check on documents you produced to show proof of funds.
So its best thing you maintain the funds you have shown in your bank documents till you PR is issued.
