Thanks bro.The reason i specifically said we Indians is because its us who are not maintaining discipline on repeatedly posting Off topic stuff here.Rules are Rules and should be same for everyone.

Hi everybody. I am here at this forum after a long time. My application was received on 22nd May, and CC got charged on 25th July .Hope to receive PER, UCI this week.
I have this curiosity to know that almost everybody got there CC charged and received there PER n UCI ,which is of course the first hurdle crossed. But don't you think the CIC is just making money by charging all applicants and then the Visa office might reject it later so that they don't have to refund the amount.
Apologies if this sound stupid . :-X

Based on the cases from the last couple of months, if something is wrong with the application CIC simply return it and skip charging.

However, I HOPE you are wrong or else many people would get sad. I'm sure most of us are paranoid already, so let's hope once PER is received no bad news would follow... :-X :-X

I agree with you. Even I have the same concern. Coz this time the rejection rate is very low (Assuming from our spreadsheet).

Wow....lot of CC charges...things are going really fast here. My application reached on May 24, NOC 0211 (Engr. Manager), a bit slow NOC. Should I start calling CIC? I have used DD as payment mode. Is there any advantage of calling CIC at this time? Please advise. I am really tensed here.

Thanks in advance for your expert advice. :o

Welcome man...

Guys, hi,
do you think I have time? My NOC code is 2174, according to the CIC website there are 120 applications received already (out of max 300). I can only apply some time in October, do I have a chance of getting into the cap?
