they have already increased their SLAs from 6-8 weeks to 8-10 weeks..

By normal post from canada to new delhi, it might take 1 month so you should have patience,
now nobody can predict especially for normal posts.
earlier in the forum somewhere I saw that it may take upto 2 months.

Friends nobody answered my query earlier on 1032 so pasting again

they dont work on saturdays , only you get news becuase on Friday evening its
morning in east side ( India or another country ) and there banks are open on saturday's too

Guys,
it's not the first time CIC open "early". They always start 8 AM and work sometimes till 8 PM (there were evidences around the forum already). They even work on Saturday (I, myself, got charged unexcpetedly (but luckily) on Saturday).
So we owe our deep respect to them and to what the "reform" has done this year! Also they seem to keep the promise of faster processing... See, some people got their AOR already and it is under 3 months since the program started.

No, you are wrong. My cc charge was on Saturday morning NS TIME. And also I do not live in India. My time zone is GMT+2 (or Nova Scotia +6)...

right ,, you never know it may stretch upto a month. and nobody knows how CIC works but we may just do some guess work LOL.
One thing is almost sure that you are in the cap of 120 people , so you should be happy and no news is a good news , you may try calling them one more time for your satisfaction.

they are sending return docs in regular mail and avarage time to receive that in india is very to one month to 2 month depends on locality/area....
