I wanted to ask if CIC verifies bank certificate that is sent to them or not? Saying that, after sending the certificate showing sufficient funds can I withdraw the money from my account?

CIC might not , but Visa office will crosscheck.. I think

HI THERE....am b.tech mechanical engg NOC2132...would be filing by end aug 2013....i see the cic cap update...it says 12 mech. engg till 29th july....
so whats the chance if i file by end august'13.
i have my ielts and eca done...jus waiting for the cash to come...

i understand ppl who hav sent in may/june,there cc or dd are been charged since few days..
my question is...by the time i file...will the cap be filled.,ie 300...

needed expert advice pls PLS PLS..

Dont Panic.. Send in ur file.. ur chances are very very bright as this is not very Hot NOC compared to 1112 etc

Can you plz tell me what is your analysis if I (as a 4 June applicant) can make into the caps? My NOC is 1112.

I am no better than anyone. will need to wait and figure out brother.. any one can assume and speculate.. just try calling in CIC second week of August to see if they have taken your application..

In BC you would get old college lecturer nothing wrong with them but gave me 6 once 7.5 another (after 1.5 months time) time in speaking test. very moody, but in IDP the staff is from this generation. ;D

Sameer, that old grumpy lecturer is just recording your voice and sending over to central evaluation center .. the poor guy has nothing to do with the diff in your marks/band...not denying the mood swings though

yes would be few.. who are still waiting for their CC charged..
CIC is working on 23rd currently.. you should hear good news in a day or two.

Finally the much awaited new has come. Yesterday I got email from my consultant forwarded from CIC that my application got a "positive determination of eligibility to be processed" with File no. on it.

This news got tears in my eyes, of course I am very happy . I was trying for it from 2011 but file returned due to CAP filled and got lucky this year. Went to Gurudawara to thanks god for everything and prayed for everybody in this forum.

DD Encashed Date : 16 July
PER Date : 29 July

There is an attached letter. And it tells me about the next steps like i will be contacted to submit a few docs, etc.Though the letter is a template it has a few things highlighted like 72 months, i will be given 4 months to resubmit the docs, and that i should start preparing for work, etc. Similar to whats on the CIC website. But the para quoted above is what is shocking.... Please note that 72 months was in bold in the letter too. I have sent them a query lets see what they respond. Maybe its a typing error.

who have taken this forum for a ride. Guys trust the CIC website and not an ID which has just poped up today.

Well please i am not lying. And i am not interested in wasting all of your time. I just wanted to know if anyone else has received such an email? And someone mentioned that Aditya has also got. So probably you need to broaden your horizon mate.

Rest all thank you so much for listening. I am awaiting a response from the New Delhi visa office but the automated response says that it might take upto a month for a revert. Lets see. I hope its just a type error.
