Mate,
No need to ring the bell near a sleeping lion.
None in CIC knows what ur parents DOB is,
Once you your PER and then an AOR from your Local visa office, you can make as much amendments as you like.
why bother now.
Hope it helps.
Dude thanks for the advice. What is bothering me more is I have mention wy wife's name instead of my name as her spouse. In the dependent section in the generic application form.

As understood by your post, you missed some dox in your initial application package and sent those missing dox later along with an explanation letter.
If you did not mention your DOB, Country of Birth, (probably) your passport no. then CIC won't take a pain and try to attach 2nd piece of documents to your original ones.

In my view:

Reply to CIC's email stating your DOB, Country of Birth (some other relevant info) requesting again to find the file on the basis of information you are providing in this email.

I hope you get +ve response.
All the best

PS: I also got a same response from CIC when I submitted my new payment form along with an explanation letter. I also missed to mention DOB etc info in that letter, hence I received the same response from CIC.

@outstandinguy, which address did you send the new payment form? Is it the CIC address where we sent the original application? Also, which email you used to correspond for the corrected DOB? Appreciate your response.

Folks,

I am a 27th may applicant 2147 noc. I sent cic a cover letter and fresh dd which was delivered on 24th July(Day when CIC was working on 21/22 May Applications), as my old dd expires soon. I mentioned the following details on the cover letter along with reason for sending a new DD.

1. date and time original application was delivered at cic.
2. name of person who signed and received the package at cic
3. My full name
4. passport number
5. date of birth
6. full address
7. noc code
8. full address
9. phone number
10. email address

place of birth not mentioned!

1. Is this information good enough for cic to locate my original application package?
2. Would CIC have had my records in their system by 24th July for them to find me easily?
3. If CIC adds my new dd, will it push me back in the queue to date of receiving my new dd?
all foreign DD has 6 months validity. Don't understand why u send another DD

I just read from someone on this forum that 'he forgot to send transcripts', can someone with more senior knowledge confirm if I needed to have sent my transcripts even though WES had pre-assessed them and I don't have a copy.

Does it state anywhere that I must provide copies of transcripts?
in the documents checklist it is clearly mentioned send transcripts if available. It is not mandatory to send transcripts. But sending a copy of degree or certificate or diploma is mandatory. Hope that helps.

@Alertjack, I guess you have give a good amount of details to locate and match the app. I am concerned with your third question. Will they put you back in the queue. Actually I am in a similar quandary. BTW, which address did you use to send the revised information? Is it same as the CIC address where we sent the original app?

CIC has update the online tool for checking status. I think its only the frontend

NEED HELP.

I have moved on to a different country and a better job since I applied for FSW in May 2013. Have received PER and looks like the application is on the way to VO.
Q1 - Should I inform the change proactively?
Q2 - If yes, then to who and how?

Appreciate your response. Thanks.

Please someone respond. Thanks.

Finally the much awaited new has come. Yesterday I got email from my consultant forwarded from CIC that my application got a "positive determination of eligibility to be processed" with File no. on it.

This news got tears in my eyes, of course I am very happy :D. I was trying for it from 2011 but file returned due to CAP filled and got lucky this year. Went to Gurudawara to thanks god for everything and prayed for everybody in this forum.

DD Encashed Date : 16 July
PER Date : 29 July

In your "User of representative form", you must have given the details of the agent. They are registered members and I don't think they will risk their membership by asking for more fee.

You should pay the rest of the committed fee and get PER from them as also for any further correspondence with CIC, their email address and mailing address will be used.
+1

Yes, I agree, just pay the guy as committed and get on with life. Getting to Canada is way more important than trying to weasel out of this situation with some tricks. Anyway, your choice whether you want peace in life or people against you.
