Guys My Wife is having 4 Years of Experience under category 2174 and after that she was self employed and was working in Networking, Data Communication and Wireless Network field (Category 2147).

We'r trying to put up her file but confused. We decided to put the file under category 2147. But what documents to put for the Self Employed Experience?

Guys Please share your knowledge. It will surely help us to reach our destiny.

Proving Self employed experience would require all other supporting docs like the tax returns, incorporation etc. If I were you, would go for the 2174 category, unless you feel 2147 will be a safer option considering the comparable number of applicants in 2174.

DEXTER is one of the CIC personnel receiving applications when he is in office
May be both your applications reached at CIC when he was on his duty. Nothing special. Many of our files were received by him. Even mine :

Ohh if the "Other Applicant" is me in your question, then Calgary, AB is my destination of stay once PR is received. The application was sent to the same place as yours i.e CIO, Sydney, NS

You right ursk2792. Lets hope the CAP is increased for 2174 on account low applications in other NOCs ;D

I don't think the cap can be increased for in demand NOC's just because there were less numbers in other NOC's.
I don't think most of 2174's cant work (Not because we are not allowed to, but we may not know) in any other NOC jobs.

well he assumed that to be because of "schedule 3 old" form , but he didnt mention clearly if there was a note ,
I think only he could tell. may be you plz ask him again

this above link is a help and answer in FSW section. so it is particular about FSW program.

He did mention why the application was returned and there was a also a note from CIC as per him.

UPDATE - Here is the post from him.

"Small update: My file was returned to me including photos and IELTS and PCC on 15th July

I have re sent the file with updated Schedule 3 form. I dont even know why it was needed because I didnt need ECA..I have Canadian Diploma.

Anyway my file should reach CIO by Monday

I know its a long shot, but I couldnt sleep if didnt try. If my file comes back again saying cap is full, atleast I can RIP that I tried atleast..

Congratulations to all whose CC have charged since I have posted here.. I dont feel like posting unless I have an update.

I think you have interpreted the spreadsheet column "Destination in Canada" wrongly. It is the destination where you intend to land after getting VISA as mentioned in your application form. It is not the destination of your application file.

I just called CIC a moment ago and was able to get to a lady. As I trying to introduce myself, she abruptly cut me short and asked when my Application got to CIC Sydney.
When I told her 23rd May, she advised me to wait for an email from Sydney and call back in August if I have not heard anything yet by then. She said that their office is in another location with the Sydney office and they could only have access to it if a file is opened for me.

Secondly when she asked whether I was at any time a student or was working in Canada, I told her nope; I only travelled to Canada on Vacation. She said that in that case, i do not have any UCI yet.

I used a DD and with this now I have to live with many more weeks of waiting and profound anxiety.

A request to all Full Members, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PROFILE so we all know your basic details without having to search tracking sheet. Thanks.

I have gone thru all the 1 ;D ;D 1 pages till now!!
+1 to all the super mods and others contributing to this wonderful forum..

Also a big +1 to CIC employees who are still working on FSWP applications despite their colleagues going on strike!! Even these guys could have joined the strike, but thankfully, they are still on it for processing our applications..

Congratulations to all the people who have proceeded to the next phase of PR process and Best of luck to all!!

I want to send my application by DHL and I think they don't have such an envelop. what should I do?

Its just the size of envelop which is mentioned.. which normally is same what we use for A4 size sheets.

Also address is different if you send by courier and if by regular mail.

There are 2 addresses. One for regular mail and second for courier services.

I have received my PER and UCI number today Happy to share the news with you guys. My application was received on 17th May and CC charged on 16th July. 2147 CODE

NEED HELP.

I have moved on to a different country and a better job since I applied for FSW in May 2013. Have received PER and looks like the application is on the way to VO.
Q1 - Should I inform the change proactively?
Q2 - If yes, then to who and how?
