its certainly less.., <- assumption
I clearly stated yesterday that NOC 1122 got filled quickly in 2011 <- true
and so will happen for 2174 and 1112 this year <- assumption
both are neck to neck <- true
and forum is just not more than 25% overall applications. <- assumption
Moreover the updates are not yet clear that which date are they from, <- true
so a grim situation <- assumption
lets wait and watch!!! <- i agree

Hi, guys, my application was received on May 23rd, and no news up to now...

Could anyone suggest how to contact CIC for inquiries? and what information they need for inquiries?

Hmmm, convincing HR can be quite difficult, especially when one fears that they may lose their job over this! Is there also a senior manager or supervisor who can also white a letter on company letterhead stating your job duties? Did you send a copy of your contract or job offer letter, these sometimes help. I think this is the primary reason you were refused. As your Noc is a HOT one you will have to work quickly and pray that you are not too late. Thread carefully with HR but do try to see if they can give you a letter with even the 3 main duties....that your job has that corresponds with the Noc category.

Thanks, I resigned few days back and joining another company in few weeks .... So can't really do much !!!

As you may have surmised from the update, on what day (submitted documents) does CIC work on for today? Thanks ;D

I second that. Also why you did not attach travel information form? It is mandatory....
Moreover, try to attach the following along with self signed explanation letter:

1. Firstly, your supervisor's business card so that CIC could validate the contents of your JD as mentioned.
2. Secondly, you should attach at least last 2 months pay stubs along with employment contract.
3. Finally, your internal JD document which reflects the job requirements/duties required to perform the very work.

I hope you will get through. All the best!!

I did include a letter from the company stating that I was employed for this much of time as well all details of HR, signed on company letterhead..... Only thing which was missing was job duties that included as separate document.

what's the table gonna look like if we assume that the latest cap update for 2174 which is 120, is for may 24?

As per our forum, only the fee of the members after 17th May have been charged but they have not received PER yet. So, I guess we cannot include them in completed applications. What do you say ?

It cant be 24th May because none of the forum member ( out of 14) has been charged yet! ,
, till date people of 15th May application are being charged...so the update by CIC is GROSS misleading
unfortunately

The guide on the below link did not clearly specified what will happen if CAP limit has been reached and application is still on Eligibility Review phase. Thoughts?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg77

What Happens Next

The table below represents the phases of the assessment and processing.

Phase: Completeness check

Citizenship and Immigration Canada reviews your application to make sure that:

all required fields in your application forms are complete,
all required documents are submitted from Document Checklist (IMM 5612), and
the correct processing fee payment has been made
If your application is:

incomplete or;
the allowable cap limit has been reached,
your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter explaining why it is being returned.

Phase: Eligibility Review

An officer at the CIO will make a final determination as to whether you meet all the eligibility criteria and your application is eligible for processing.

If your application is not eligible for processing, you will be sent a letter that:

explains the reason(s) why your application is not eligible for processing, and
confirms that a refund for the processing fee will be issued.

+1 for the table. Very interesting. It looks reasonable. And hopefully (the 2174 june 28 and onward applicants :D) it's a really REALLY conservative projection.
