I clearly stated yesterday that NOC 1122 got filled quickly in 2011 and so will happen for 2174 and 1112 this year
both are neck to neck and forum is just not more than 25% overall applications.
Moreover the updates are not yet clear that which date are they from , so a grim situation
lets wait and watch!!!

Aplication returned, as per lawyer,

CIC need a letter from my employer for my duties - i had provided letter self signed letter as my HR department was not issuing letter with all job duties
Also, they need some form IMM 5562 completed.

Any suggestion - should i fight with HR and get the letter or it is too late now?

Hi, sorry to learn of this. But you have to see it from CIC's point of view, if they allowed applicants to write their own employment duties, the scope for fraud would be immense.

In order to apply for FSWP some cooperation from the employer for whom the essential work experience was gained is necessary.

The only time CIC would consider work experience without employer references is

Regrettably as far as CIC are concerned, they never received your application since it was not complete. All you can do is re-gather the correct information and apply again. Under which NOC category were you applying?

Here's what you can do... You cannot force your HR to issue job duties as they might have their specific reasons, in my case confidentiality of the company.. You can ask and prepare these:

- Letter from your company (with letterhead) testifying that they do not provide job duties stating their reasons.
- Letter of testimony SIGNED by your previous manager. These contains your job roles and descriptions. Please reword your company roles since you might have some legal problems with your company. Do not self signed this document.
- Letter of explanation from you that your company does not give out job duties thus, you are providing additional documents as a proof of your employment such as the letter of testimony above, job employment letter, calling card of your manager, copy of job contract (since this will give them idea on your job role) etc....

If your job duties are held in a computer system at the company in question, check the relevant data protection laws for your country.

In the UK there is the Data Protection Act, under which companies MUST provide details of all personal data held on their computer systems, which would I think include job duties. They would be in breach of the Data Protection Act by refusing to provide this information.

Of course the data protection laws my vary from country to country but it is worth looking into.

I second that. Also why you did not attach travel information form? It is mandatory....
Moreover, try to attach the following along with self signed explanation letter:

1. Firstly, your supervisor's business card so that CIC could validate the contents of your JD as mentioned.
2. Secondly, you should attach at least last 2 months pay stubs along with employment contract.
3. Finally, your internal JD document which reflects the job requirements/duties required to perform the very work.

Hmmm, convincing HR can be quite difficult, especially when one fears that they may lose their job over this! Is there also a senior manager or supervisor who can also white a letter on company letterhead stating your job duties? Did you send a copy of your contract or job offer letter, these sometimes help. I think this is the primary reason you were refused. As your Noc is a HOT one you will have to work quickly and pray that you are not too late. Thread carefully with HR but do try to see if they can give you a letter with even the 3 main duties....that your job has that corresponds with the Noc category.

Does that UCI work if the returned file is resend to CIC ?

what recording you are listening if u r dialing the cic number and entering your uci in last option of IVR ?

No info is provided.. its just validate the uci by asking to punch in year of birth and then call is directed to cic agent. Agents did not had access to my file and did nt give any info.
