I have received my PER and UCI number today Happy to share the news with you guys. My application was received on 17th May and CC charged on 16th July. 2147 CODE

hi again everyone -
i posted a question here last week, not sure what happened to it as i no longer see it in the thread. just wanted to know your insights on the following:

i have a couple of joint bank accounts with my mom, which has been 10+ years old. can i include this as part of my POF? i am applying alone, and wanted to know if this is ok.

According to My consultant, CIC considers the joint account but distribute the funds evenly between both the holders. So only half of the funds will be counted under your name.

Aplication returned, as per lawyer,

CIC need a letter from my employer for my duties - i had provided letter self signed letter as my HR department was not issuing letter with all job duties
Also, they need some form IMM 5562 completed.

Any suggestion - should i fight with HR and get the letter or it is too late now?

Re: 2174 - CC Charged today.

floxy if you are rite, My application will be pushed 2 months back in queue. I am a 27th may applicant. I sent them a fresh DD that reached last week as it expires first week of Aug (3 months)

This cannot be good

But Geverok who had sent a updated fee payment form did not have any such delay issue reported

pls do share any thoughts and ideas on this ' getting pushed back in the queue' due to additional documents sent.

No I am not very sure. Was only guessing because CIC is charging May 22nd now and my additional document reached May 22nd. Please don't take what I have said for a certainty.

Since mine also reached about the same time and like I said, I didnt send my IMM 5562 form but got my cc charged. could this be linked to the other reason purely and also because its a hot NOC? just guessing[/size] :'( :'( :'(

this is really heart breaking news.. 5562 is supplementary travel form
and job duties i think talk to HR again or department head..

Hmmm, convincing HR can be quite difficult, especially when one fears that they may lose their job over this! Is there also a senior manager or supervisor who can also white a letter on company letterhead stating your job duties? Did you send a copy of your contract or job offer letter, these sometimes help. I think this is the primary reason you were refused. As your Noc is a HOT one you will have to work quickly and pray that you are not too late. Thread carefully with HR but do try to see if they can give you a letter with even the 3 main duties....that your job has that corresponds with the Noc category.

Any news from CIC to your file?

Congrats to all those charged and those with PERS. I remember just the other day we were at page 300 and asking for cic update. Now people are crossing over daily and we're at page 999! Wow!The tension formerly existent in the house is gone. Good Luck to everybody
