Welcome!!,

did u apply on ur own or through some consultant,
if through consultant , that could possibly give some idea how many silent members
there are from NDVO :) ( I believe there are a lot ! ??? ),
any reply is appreciated , good luck for next steps..!!

thanks.. I applied by myself

I just called CIC a moment ago and was able to get to a lady. As I trying to introduce myself, she abruptly cut me short and asked when my Application got to CIC Sydney.
When I told her 23rd May, she advised me to wait for an email from Sydney and call back in August if I have not heard anything yet by then. She said that their office is in another location with the Sydney office and they could only have access to it if a file is opened for me.

Secondly when she asked whether I was at any time a student or was working in Canada, I told her nope; I only travelled to Canada on Vacation. She said that in that case, i do not have any UCI yet.

I used a DD and with this now I have to live with many more weeks of waiting and profound anxiety. :(

My documents reached CIC on May 22nd. I sent it from USA. The CIC letter inside was dated July 18th and I received the documents back on July 26th.

I'm also in the same situation. I'm waiting for my application to be returned. Did they sent application back through USPS or fedex, ups. The reason I'm asking is because I moved to a new address after filing the application. The address change is taken care with USPS but not with fedex and ups. If they are sending it by fedex I have to take care of my address change with them.

Thanks for sharing. I guess I will call them in the second week of August also. No need to be anxious. If it happens great. If it doesn't, life will still go on.

Congrats Stark....Added

Hi Stark,

How to add our information in the spreadsheet.

Leo1134, thanks for the details. I can well understand your situation as are also more or less in same condition. The problem.is that my brother wudn't even know the status of application till he gets it back or gets charged, the chances for which looks less now. There is no other way we can. Gwt to know the status of his application.
By the way, if u knew u has sent old schedule 3, why didn't u try sending the new form with covering letter to CIC. May be that cud've worked for u!
Anyways Best of luck to u for ur new application. Just don't give up yet.

Newest- From what I have seen from the forum and things I saw in my documents. Everything in the documents were checked with red mark including the schedule 3, guessing my the inspector. And they probably kept it aside. Most of the May 22nd applicants were getting their CC's charged around July 18th. Therefore my guess is that my application was reviewed again on the day they were planning to charge my application. But since it had old schedule 3 they send it back instead. Since I am in US, I received it in a week.

Had to wait two agonizing months to see my application returned. Funny thing is that I knew I sent old schedule 3 a month ago!

Folks they are probably working overtime for us without a proper staff so little frustration is justified.i think all of us here who will finally land in canada must thank god and them for not committing any error in the processing :D

My documents were returned due to old schedule 3. I received it on July 26th and I am planning to send it again. Do you guys think it is even worth sending it again? My NOC is 2132.

Did you submit the supporting documents as required? The education assessment, language test results and proof of funds. It's hard to imagine that all supporting documents were submitted as required and they still return the application for a form that added one question on ECA. Since I'm in the same position, I just sent an email attaching the updated form and placed the original in the mail. My app was rec'd on June 24th, so I'm hoping there is still time. Btw, are there any successful applicants who used the old Schedule 3?
