One more thing, since I checked the forum after 1 day, it was really tough to find replies to my post!! Indeed people are quite active on this forum.. Need to catch up some pace.. :o

YES of course...

Only if you have provided some proof of the date you signed is the real date, not previous one.
For example I signed my docs during one concert and then enclosed the ticket. Next step: you have to prove that after this date and time nobody touches your documents any more. I achieved it like this: I sealed all the docs in an envelope with a date stamp on it. Then I took one maple leaf from the nearest tree here (note the fact I user exactly maple leaf ;)) - just freshly torn leaf. And I put it in a plastic bag with these "zips" on top. So then they can easily check the age of this "dying leaf" via Carbon-14 dating method. I glued this plastic bag on the envelope with my stamp, so that if it got opened, the plastic bag would be destroyed. I printed a page of instructions how to open this envelope without ruining the "proof".

Unfortunately in the end they did not consider my date - 1st of April, but followed the receiving one...
P.S. It's a joke! No hard feelings!

I just received PER mail...... :)

Unable to see your details in spreadsheet..... >:(

Dear All,

I need your urgent advice!

I'm attaching my work contracts as supporting docs for my work experience.
According to the Doc checklist, we should submit copies of contracts which is logical.
However there is nothing clear about the translation, should it be the original translation or a certified copy of the translation?

The same for the National ID (COPIES) but what about the translation itself.

Appreciate your prompt response.
Thnx

To save you hassle later on and to avoid any problems, please certify all translations. My advice is to not risk sending un-certified copies.

Of course I'll certify copies, but for instance the instructions guide telling explicitly for Police Clearance to submit the original translation (not a copy of the translation.

But Nothing mentioned for any other document.
So generally speaking what is the default for the translation, certified copies or originals?

I have been lagging in reading this thread hence the late reply. Need to go through another 18 pages to get to the current page.

And I called them before writing this, they do not have my UCI on the system and mentioned something about another office in Ottawa (???), also advising me to check using UCI on ECAS and that I should call back in a week or so. Maybe I didn't make it clear that my payment hasn't been charged yet. Still awaiting initial processing! What did I do wrong :( Shouldn't have sent in the additional documents I guess.
