Re: Any 2174 applicants charged ?

Mine is 2174, 22 May Application received by Dexter and DD as payment method, i call my bank every day but still the DD is not cashed and am tensed a bit...

Don't worry too much and make others worry. CIC just started charging 23/24 applciations. Since your payment is DD, it would take sometime for you to know about the DD encashment. There is a possibility that you may receive a PER before you know that your DD is encashed.

So, have faith and don't get tensed.

I agree...DHL took like 7 days to deliver my package.....

They were nearly sitting on my package for about 14 hours before the same could leave Delhi Airport.....DHL sucks....

When I called up DHL, they informed me that they were not sitting with the package, but it was the agent....Well Its your agent, Buddy!!!!

It was the funniest reply that I have very got from anyone....who understand the agent principal relationships.

Can we please have another tracker to know which is the fastest courier. We can have details like, courier name, sent date, reached date, sent from, type of service, cost...etc ;D

Your file reached on 24th June, so you should be hearing around end of August or may be a week or two before if the number of applications are less starting from June.

I understand that many of you are not getting connected by phone to CIC. Email is a definite way though I agree its very long and can take upto 3 weeks.
While I have received my PER on 8th July. Since I did not hear for 7 weeks from them since my application was received, I had mailed them as well on 30th June on cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca. I got a reply from them in 3 weeks, yesterday. Below is the text:

Good Afternoon:



Please advise if email dated 8 July 2013 sent by CIO-Sydney was NOT received.

i totally agree with your opinion....should you be too anxious i will recommend forumites mail CIC even before the anticipated date of your file being reviewed because of the waiting period to get a reply from CIC.

Again for DD users...i will advise you remain hopeful and wish for the best. i'm a may 23 applicant with DD and i'm hoping to hear from CIC in about 10 days time...

They should at least hear something from CIC now.

DHL is hopeless it took 8 days in my case

I guess I was lil lucky with DHL. Sent on Monday and App reached on Friday.
I guess once the packet reaches Ontario, they wait for some minimum count before delivering to Nova Scotia.
