Dear Fellows,

I need some information for a friend of mine who is going to send the application in a couple of days under the NOC 2132:

When I applied for the immigration in 2010, there used to be two checklists - 1. CIO checklist 2. Visa office specific checklist (depending upon which visa office will process your application)

While checking the current application package online at the CIC website, I observed that nothing regarding the visa office specific checklist has been mentioned there. Does that mean there's no visa office specific checklist now?

There is only the checklist mentioned on the CIC site.

Please , before expecting any response update your NOC and the previous application filing date , that would give better idea to other
in the forum here too.

My application was returned with all the documents punched and I sent the application again.

Could someone tell me if the same thing happened? I read in another forum that is not problem, CIC accept the same document.

hi all, i badly need your inputs. today, i received a notification from WES that they received the copy of my degree certificate however, it was indicated in the e-mail that the copy of transcript that i sent needs to be resent.

from the list of requirements from the Philippines, what i needed to submit was:

What to submit: Clear, legible photocopies of all graduation certificates or diplomas issued by the institutions attended
How to Submit: To be submitted to WES by applicant.

i realize that i should have not included a photocopy of my transcript but i just wanted to make sure. the original copies are in transit, sent directly by my university to WES. should this be good?

Hi there! I am also from the Philippines. That should be good. University should send original transcripts and validation form to WES via sealed envelope. In my case, I asked the university to include the photocopy of my diploma on the DHL package, of course separate from the university's sealed envelope. WES accepted them and it only took 10 days on my case from sending to WES to receiving my report via international express. Hope this helps.

Could you plz share how did you manage to get it over the phone. I called CIC several times but every time they said , they dont have access to applicants from outside Canada. The only way is to email CIO Sydney!!! Any magic word to use "Open Sesame" !!!!

Received PER-24/07/2013. It was sitting in my junk folder. and I noticed this after i got a status update from CIC informing me that an acknowledgment letter was sent via email on 24/7/2013. ThATS when i checked my spam folder and found the email sitting in there.......

I just got an email from my local visa office (see below), It looks like they've just received my file.
Is this the so called "2nd AOR"?
Not sure if there's a column for this on the spreadsheet, so there you have it anyway.

In response of my inquiry, I got email from London visa office...........my application package has been transferred to London Visa Office....

Please be advised that your file was transferred to Case Processing Pilot Ottawa (CPPO). As your file is no longer in our office, we are unable to comment on it. Please direct your inquiries and additional information to that office. """""""""""

1) Does'nt this means my case has been transferred to VO???
2) But the status is still "In Process". Am I missing something here?
3) How are folk's ECAS Status Detail in "Green" different from the ones in "Blue" in the spreadsheet???

Any response would be hugely appreciated.

lol, CIO Sydney replied to my original inquiry that was made on June 21st

Your file was transferred to the visa office in London. As your file is no longer in our office, we are unable to comment on it. Please direct all other enquiries and additional information to that office.

It' not a requirement, but yes you can. But you may be asked to submit an updated one by your VO at a later stage.
