Its going to be a full one month dis 27th since my cc got charged...& still no signs of PER yet..such a long duration... M I da only one or is any1 out der who faces da same situation? Plz share...n Can any 1 help me on dis or do I need to wait more n mor??

Have you tried calling CIC and get the UCI number? You better do that, sometimes it happens that the mail gets bounced or doesn't get delivered. you better check with your application copy whether you entered the right email id with the correct spelling.

CIC is not responding on phone.I have tried to call them several time everytime they say please send us email.

The point is to prove your relationship with the person who is in Canada.

I used my birth certificate on which I have my father's name because my father had no birth certificate I gave them my father's passport copy and also my uncles' passport copy showing the same father and mother name on it to prove they are brothers.

Also I attached my parents marriage certificate and my uncles marriage certificate, both of these documents had their parents name on it.

I also explained the relationship by drawing the linage with a chart that how me and my uncle are connected.

However we all might have different relationships to prove hence use your common sense to achieve this goal.

I've sent my sister in law birth certificate, copy of Canadian passport and the latest notice of assessment to prove the relationship

Finally received my PER yesterday....please update my details.... cc charged - 13-07-2013, PER received - 23-07-2013, NOC - 1112, Visa office - New Delhi
Rest of my details are already in the spreadsheet....

Dear bhFSW2174, it was an official cheque I got from HDFC Bank. They had given it from their account in Chase Bank, payable to CIC for the equivalent amount in CAD. Hope this helps.

Has anyone purchased demand draft from State Bank of India....

Just a belief, I don't know whether I am right but people those who have used the State Bank of India to draw the Demand Draft MIGHT be facing delays..

If any please reply...

I am also waiting for PER. My file was received on 10th May and CC charged on 8th July. So, keep it up. Hope for the best!
But yes I have sent email to CIC and just called them yesterday and confirm my emailID. They told me that they do not have any information right now.

Hi Friend. I have used a SBI DD, and my DD was encashed 13th July and PER received yesterday biggest disadvantage with a DD is you cannot track when it is encashed. whereas ironically DD is the most reliable without any CC hassles like Secure Pin.

Is your was DD payable at SBI Toronto Canada branch.

Since 13th July is saturday, SBI Canada branch is closed for working so CIO might be entering the encashed date at which they submit the DD to their bank. Then after they only send the PER after receiving the clearance from SBI toronto. THIS IS MY BELIEF AND THIS MIGHT BE THE CASE
