No Maina.....No.. you got it wrong rather I am sorry that i did not clearly stated that these are the documents I submitted this time with my new application.

At that time I just submitted tax papers and pr card and phones bills of my uncle and nothing for my dad. I was relying heavily on this theory that they already have everything in their record from Uncle's PR application when he filed his and through his additional family member detail they will be able to match everything.

I was wrong though. We have to show our due diligence in what we are trying to prove at every stage. Even if they have it on record the law is very clear that we have to provide everything to the visa officer with our application.

I hope this will help now. ;D

wat a relief... thnxx yr fo sharing this.. :)

Yes Islandbabe, Everything that was available , phone bills , tax record, his residence proof, lease etc. The Visa officer was convinced that Mr. so & so resides in Canada but not that he was actually my uncle.

The point to note from my whole scenario is that the onus to prove the relationship and residency both is on us an applicant to gain the adaptability points. Proving one of the criteria won't work and that is where the Visa Officer are trained for. This is actually a skillful task which usually not noticed by CIO's so called officer. They just check the completeness and eligibility as per checklist.

Rest is with in the hands of Visa Officer. ;D

:) Thanks Pepto,

Just wanted to make it clear that other than proof of relationship they ALSO need to send proof of residence in Canada.

Fingers Crossed.....That all goes well this time.

:)

I just analyzed that
1. all those people for NOC 2174 who's CC/ DD fee got en-cashed before 10th July are total 25.
2. and till 15th July they are 42

I researched some more in to it. If you get application or file number starts with "E" followed with nine digit number that means your GCMS file has been created. It will be created only after one has passed eligibility review as per FSWP 2013 manual. So key is to get application number from CIC if they issued one for you. I guess, you can get it via call center or CIO search inquiry email.

Dear Gaurav,

Online status is only shown when ever there is a creation of GCMS file.
Please do note that.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to ask - if, for example I am applying under 1 of the eligible occupations but has only worked 1 year but have 8 years work experience under a different work class under NOC 2011 and not one of the eligible occupations. Will my 8 years of work be considered such that I will be credited for 9 years worth of work experience?

Thanks!
