jigzyy and other Seniors,

I'm beginning to think that something is amiss today. CIC seems not to be charging CC today. Are they on holidays or what? No one in the forum here has reported of any cc being charged. Hmm :(

http://fswp2013.wordpress.com/faqs/ answered here!

Jiq, you should add the cic official video tutorials, about how to fill and send the application, it answered many questions ...like birth certificate, translation etc etc. not sure but here is the link...

Thanks for the link :)

Jigzyy - If for any reason, the 2174 does not work out (god forbid), you could always become an immigration consultant! Apparently pays really well and you don't have to do much :) What do you say? I could perhaps join your team and we can make some serious cash :)

Already thought about it ;) hehe

Hi,
Sorry for spoiling your part happiness. Getting a UCI does not confirm that You will get a PER or you are through. UCI is assigned when they input your details in the system together when they r charging 550$.
But trust me until and unless you don't get the PER we are not safe. But it does signify that we are within 300 Cap.
Have been to this stage before even and was then rejected because of less points. ( hey calculate the points and documents at this stage as well).
I sincerely hope that you get the PER so do I. 15th may applicant. and I am also waiting for PER. ( CC has been charged 15th July and my ECAS also states that its in process , 2011 UCI number with my current address)
But keep fingers crossed.
Sorry for ruining your happiness , but I have been through thats why
Be positive

Hi guys!
I was saving my 100 post for the news of PER but it seems this news is making me wait too long :P I was very anxious until 1 hour ago when I finally got someone over CIC nice enough to give me the UCI number. So I checked online and it says "In process/ We received your application for permanent residence on May 15, 2013."..It is good news right???PER email it's just a formality right around the corner to be sent? ;D...
Congratulation to everyone that had their CC/DD charged and to all happy PER owners. Special congrats to Jigzzy for an amazing work & Idima for being himself !!!...And of course, congrats to Her Highness for the newborn 8) !!

Have a great evening all!

Mate, check the statuses that are given in the ecas. AT CIO, IN PROCESS means that the visa officer has made positive eligibility of your application. Stop being pessimistic :)

Mate,
I knw the status shows in process in CIO, but the eligibility is still not confirmed. I am not being pessimistic, but I am trying not to give false hopes.
It shows inprocess coz the CC has been charged, but final say hasn't been done.
I do sincerely expect the PER but have there done that, I have been rejected at this stage in 2011.
this is my 4th application.
