@ Nishtal
Sorry to hear about your case. I don't know what happened to lawyer these days, all they want is $$$. I hope one of your application goes through this time. Just in case if your lawyer's application goes through, you can email CIC and revoke their access to your file. You still have this authority because you made them represent you.

@Viranee
Sorry to hear about your case.

@rest of the PER / Charges
Congratulations ! Way to go!!

DEAR MAHESHNEP
NO OTHER ADDITIONAL LINE... JUST TO RECONFIRM AGAIN...

The ecas on clicking "in process" merely says " We received your application for permanent residence on May 9, 2013 " (in my case). No other information.

jigzy hi, I hv 4 study visa refusals, could they put any negative impact on my file...n with the help of those refusal letters can I check my file status, seniors answer

That depends on the reason for the refusal. Normally, if the reason for refusal was due to "insufficient ties to the country of residence" or something to do with the funds, then there should no be problem. In all cases, it is advisable to attach the refusal letters.

No need to attach refusal letters with PR Application.

@ original poster, no it will not do anything with your PR application. I had 2 rejected study permits, but unknowingly, I haven't mentioned it in the PR application & UCI, but they still found out in the system, assigned the same UCI & now I have PER.

PR is altogether different application and has different purpose. Study / Visit Visa rejection will not make any impact on it.

I have a question for people who used to live in USA, concerning a friend .

How long does it take to get the PCC from USA via mail?! Actually, is it possible to get it while being abroad?!
