@ amit80203 - The very foundation of this discussion seems flawed to me. First and foremost, there are no two teams working as wide apart as May and Jun. There is initial check but not far into future while CC/DD process is still happening with the mid May applications. The initial checks extending as far into Jun and probably further is futile and waste of time/resources.

Basically there is no initial check BUT file completeness check and once a file is qualified for completion it is pushed for payment processing and then into MI and other credential checks. There is no long stacking of files after so called 'initial check' and neither do CIC has redundant staff for such activities.

If you still say there is a process of initial check as far as into June, then you must also know that none of us has seen any returned application way off from the dates of CC/DD charge, for example, end May. I hope you buy this point?

@ All - Admins knows when they will need some more admins to join them as many of us has already kept our doors open in different time zones. They know when and where to go knocking.

No matter what you say, either this will be ignored or people are still going to grill you :)

As I am always saying it's human nature and this is the way forum works :P :P :P :P

But I am sure you will be having some more suggestions regarding this topic so urge you to contribute :)

I don't agree with your point that I have highlighted. No one knows in advance which file will make it to the NOC. No one knows whose credit card may fail while charging. No one knows in advance that out of 350 files, 300 will definitely make it. It might be that only 250 go through. They can't stop work inbetween and start gain.
Oh, NOC is not reached, lets start again and do the intial checks.
Only when cap is filled, they will stop working in that NOC and start sending files back.

Yes, no one knows that cap will be full with the first 300 applications that are passed successful initial review. But, there should be set up process to work with the applications when the NOC cap is about to be filled. The initial application process team may slow down when they know that cap is reached 270 or so, out of 300 apps. They may not want to blindly process all 1000 applications received before they realise the cap is full.

Hello, my cc was finally charged on Jul 18!!
I am May 17 applicant on 2147.
Pls update the spreadsheet.
Thank you!

That's what I am saying, when CAP is reached they won't do intial checking. But if CAP is not reached, they will continue with thier work.

Hey....
I just wanted to put my views into the same too...
What I believe is they are not using any information system to tell whether CAP is reached or not... But inspite a software...like SAP or some high tech module... (definitely way out of my scope ;D ) ...
Also..what I believe is they are time punching and storing all the applications received....putting all the applications into one queue....(this queue is global... as in including applications from AEO and Sponsors included etc... )
So.. when they pick up a file from the queue to punch in the exact NOC (as they asked us to mention on the envelope) ...
the software then shows.... ~~SO MANY ~~ setas available... and if seats are filled....................
THEY HAVE A " YOUR FILE IS REJECTED" stamp placed just next to the officer's left hand... ;D ...
And a bunch of LETTERS printed in advance for every occasion... with a common wording explaining the exact situation the software shows.... ;D

There is a bucket next to the officer's right foot at about... 2 meters.. in which he throws ...while the applicant might be sipping a cup of coffee in front of the TV watching the latest seasons of THE BIG BANG THEORY ..... ;D

;)
(By this post I am not aiming anyone or aim to hurt anyone's situation or feelings). :)

Congratulations!!!

@koroa - congrats, that's excellent. 2147 not yet full then.

2174 is behind a bit at the moment - I can feel the tension as we await the first 2174 for 17 May, anxiously hoping the cap is not yet full! There is time yet.

n00b question ... after fee encashed ( this can be verified by checking the CC via online banking ), I see on the spreadsheet that after a week or so, you receive the PER (Positive final Eligibility Review). What is PER ? ( a code/number, sheet, etc ) and how do you receive it from the CIO ? ( via email ? letter ? phone ? ). It was probably answered somewhere, but it's hard to keep track with so many postings being submitted ...

Thanks ! :D

Who says to process 1000 applications. Lets us stop this discussion and not assume anything.
Arguing on this topic may fill 10 pages which I dont want to do that.

I see. But then what happened with those between Raj and the last CC/DD charge in 1112 category? Some information is incorrect somewhere.
Idoit's case was inline with his app receiving date but Raj's isn't. Well I don't want to question anyone of the authenticity of data or either CIC not following FIFO, but some information is certainly incorrect somewhere so there's no point evaluating further.

Just thinking if the time has not come now as we have more and more updates daily. And admins have to clear all the updates in some specific time zone and it will be difficult also as they need to go back 20-30 pages daily to search if any new update has provided by any forum member. We have around 500 applicants now in this forum.

I am sure Admins know from where to seek help and IMHO the time has come.

In particular APAC and EMEA time zone no updates occur on spreadsheets as Admins are off or late for them.So it would be better if we have admins in atleat three time zones to cover 24 hours (Follow the sun policy)
