What I feel is the latest CAP update is before 13th may as applicant of 13th may of our spreadsheet got cc charged in 3215 NOC which update shows as 0

Of all the posts in past 10 pages I think one above (Vats') is the most valuable one.
We have one 3215 applicant whose CC was charged and he's application was received at 07/13, while on CIC's update there are 0 3215 applicants.

So that should mean that CIC's update is for apps received "AS OF" 7/13 or during that day.
I don't like that too much, but it seems a valid point.

Anyway, congratulations to all of you - we got our long sought update! AS OF now, we can look forward to the next one.

BTW, someone mentioned a possibility of CIC announcing only numbers of people with PER - possibly, but there was that one case of 1 (one) applicant in some NOC on CIC's site that now is gone (now CIC says there are 0 of them), so that breaks the idea with CIC announcing only PERs.

Never worry abt the envelope. whatever u sent. will be accepeted. I never used any particular enevelope. whatever could hold my documents properly. I have used it.
Its my personal thought and experience.

Am a bit concerned on the size of the envelope 9"x12" for my application. What is the possibility that CIC will reject the application if the envelope is not of the correct size. Comments sought.

Longman Dictionary: as from/of something: starting from a particular time or date and continuing :
* As from today, you are in charge of the office.
* As of now, there will be no more paid overtime.

So, when they say "as of 4th May" they mean from 4th May till now.

let me share my thoughts
either the foot note means from may 4th or , they dont care to update it
As per spreadsheet, the first app of noc 2263,vitalia reached cic only on 9th may. the first two updates show nil 2263. he recvd PER on 8th july and the new update shows 2263 app recvd- 1. that means CIC is done with may second week apps. let's forget 4th may as of now and move on !

I also have a query if God forbid due to unthinkable reasons suppose a CC does't get charged our application will directly be returned or we have a chance as we chose a representative who is located in Canada? Do we have a chance to rectify ourselves???

We will have no opportunity to rectify. The file is returned to you in India unless you used the representative address as mailing address and you signed the representative form also.

Come on, no one's application ever got rejected because of the size of the envelope. Your application was received there on May 14th, so just check from your bank if your DD has been cleared. If your application was complete, then the DD should have been cleared by now.
