The Data shared by CIC says " Date Modified:2013-07-16" which means the data is till 16th July and not 4th May. The note with "as of 4th May" is probably a typo, something they need to update.
Stay positive guys. As the trend appears the data is for applications sent by 16th May.

Anyways for your question I used brown envelope and got my CC charged. CIC will not go in this type of details as a professional body.The only thing matters to them is what is inside your packet.

Hope all are well and well waiting for the applications and/or looking to file soon. I beleive needa fast.
I mailed my documents through courier on July 3 and courier has confirmed reciept in CIO Sydney Office on July 10, 2013.

Can anyone suggest as what should I expect now? Are they going to send any email / letter etc or what to confirm and acknowledge the application.
I applied under 0211 category. My visa office is London

You have to await for 2 things only.
Either they will take your money and you good then,
or you will receive your package back in a few months, then you screwed.

Longman Dictionary: as from/of something: starting from a particular time or date and continuing :
* As from today, you are in charge of the office.
* As of now, there will be no more paid overtime.

So, when they say "as of 4th May" they mean from 4th May till now.

OMG what have I done??

Ironically my morning post was supposed to end the previous discussions related to the period analyzed by CIC and not generate a hole new topic :-\ I'm glad we're over it now!! Let's keep faith and carry on our lives, what's meant to be will happen regardless of CIC's wording.

And let's count to 9 A.M. N.S., as we have less than 10 minutes to opening hours...I would like to think that yesterday was a day of charging, today of "PER-ing" ;D
