My NOC is NOC: 1112
My ECA report was completed on 30th of April.
Any further thoughts?
Did you use WES? And did you select the "basic package" instead of FSWP? IF yes, you will get email from WES to upgrade your package so CIC have online access to it. If not, I have no clue what is causing the delay...

No. Only liquid fund, provident fund etc can be shown as settlement fund.

Thanks jigzyy! I have an additional question. Would you think that having a Canadian Dollar Account here in the Philippines be a better route to go rather than keeping my savings account in Philippine Peso (as proof of Settlement of Funds)?

Thanks again guys, and good luck to us all!

just got text message from my Amex credit card that my CC charged.

thanks to almighty Allah.

Great forum members, which address is meant to be on the 2 self addressed envelopes for the application package?

Anyone recieved NER email instead of PER?

Hope to get PER email soon.
Good luck, would you mind sharing full details for spreadsheet now given you are already public?

Answered on your other posting. It is your OWN mailing address required.

Important Canadian Immigration Updates

'We have come to learn that some of the NOC Codes have already met their Quotas, namely:

1) NOC 1112 - Financial and Investment Analysts

2) NOC 2147 - Computer Engineers

3) NOC 3174 - Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers'
I just got this in email form a private consultant based in canada. His name is Mathew Iwama, pLease google and update yourselves. I hope adminstrators wont take me wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's the link

if that's the case then we should start receiving our applications back shortly. But I really doubt that - they have just started charging the May 16th applications, which means that there still are open spots within the hot NOC's. Unless, of course, they checked at least as many applications to fill the hot NOC's and now they are only charging CC's.

I honestly believe that we are still in the game. :-)

I think the website is trying to dissuade new applicants from the hot NOCs (vs. already sent apps). That is sensible as opposed to what other agents are saying. However, it has just messaged it incorrectly. Clearly, the cap is NOT full now but it will be once the pipeline of current apps is processed...

0211 is really going cold but that fact can be reliably backed up by looking at the spreadsheet.
There's a gap between apps received; first from 13-May to 16-May (no weekend in between) and then from 17-May to 22-May (including weekend). Now I'm suspecting some CC/DD charges for 0211 apps received on 16th and 17th May and then suddenly jump to 22nd May. (of course, there will be few apps between those dates from people not attending this forum; BUT FEW as can be ascertained looking back what's been happening since the opening of FSWP-2013 !)

However, worth noting that if there are separate sections for each NOC, 0211 (and some others) should be moving ahead on account of sparsely received apps throughout May but, as evidently seen, such is not the case! This phenomenon is strange. It only shows CIC is not focusing that much on low/mediocre-demand NOCs as 0211 so they can divert the manpower from one NOC to another in high-demand such as 2147 and 1112. This, however, contradicts the presumption that there are separate sections for each NOC.

Hard to predict what's actually going on inside CIC.
