Important Canadian Immigration Updates


'We have come to learn that some of the NOC Codes have already met their Quotas, namely:


1) NOC 1112 - Financial and Investment Analysts

2) NOC 2147 - Computer Engineers

3) NOC 3174 - Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers'

Can we add a flow chart based on the operating manual so it is easier for applicants and prospective applicants get a general overview of the process?

Ha ha...there were 8 applications under NOC 2174 between the updates by CIC.
So 8/2 = 4 Got it?

Pure MATH

First update by CIC - June 20th - Total applications - 28
Second update by CIC - June 24th - Total applications - 65

Number of working days between the updates - 2
Number of applications complete between the updates - 37
Number of applications/day = 18.5

Number of working days from 24th June - 16



Total apps done = 16 * 18.5 = 296 (total would be 296 + 65 = 361)

Total apps for NOC 2174 = 16 * 4 = 64 (Total would be 64 + 15 = 79)

Now, calculate for your own NOC

But both the update by CIC indicate receiving application on 4th May. No gurantee that all the 4th May has been completed by CIC within 24th June.

May be true, but still may be a guess...

Btw, its 2174 and not 3174.

I have received my UCI number and application number on 15/07/2013
but when i tried to check at cic website for application status
i could not find
can anyone guide how much time cic takes to update website after issuing application number?

Updates by CIC indicates the completed applications and not received applications.

As Jigzyy keeps saying, that site is only update once each week....so you can wait a week and then try.
