Application reached 30th May

Hi,
Looks like my application reached CIC on 30th May. I have applied under NOC 2174. If everything is fine, what are my chances? Is there any hope?

Regards, sd

You can simply send your Bachelors degree transcript and certificate. That's what I did and got the Bachelor's Degree Equivalent report from WES. No need to send other docs.

oh..thanks.that was a relief:)

Hello everyone, very useful discussion here!
I have one question to those FSW applicants who could send their applications to CIC early in May:
How could you manage to get your non-Canadian education qualifications assessed and receive your educational credential Assessment (ECA) reports that fast?
I had my IELTS result ready on 4th of May but could not send my application to CIC before the beginning of June waiting for my ECA report eventhough I have sent my documents to the assessment organaiztion (University of Toronto) early in May :(
Can anyone clarify to me what I missed?
Can it be that all of those who applied early in May have got their education qualifications from Canada?

I basically as Islandbabe said paid a lot of money to both my universities and WES; express all the way and I basically didnt waste a minute.

Oh and I used WES.

I finally see my credit card has been charged! Thats such a relief.

I wanted to make some arrangements for the next set of fees. Does anybody here know how this payment is to be made and when? Do we wait until the entire second stage processing is done or do we have to pay the fees before that and where?

Hi all

Just a thought !

When I sent my application to CIC in first week of july , $1 CAD used to be some where around RS. 55 , and I as a proof of fund from my bank submitted statement telling that i have Rs 7,95,000/- (which used to be CAD 14,454 approx) I mentioned the same amount on the one of the application forms .

Now as we all now Rupee price has fallen and CAD is almost Rs 58 /- :o which makes that amount as 13700/- approx.. , wont the figure mentioned by me as CAD $14,454/- be considered misleading by CIC

ALSO if the price of rupee falls further ..( which is expected) ...wont CIC consider my funds as insufficient "SETTLEMENT FUNDS"

WIll it help me iff i deposit some more spare money now to my account...

DO U all think , The concern I am raising is relevant or not ?????
Please comment !!!!!!!!!!

Thankss!!!!!!!!

Thats quite an imp point you have raised.. but i guess, it all depends on the date declared by the bank as the evaluation date should be considered by CIC...

Guys correct me if i am wrong... but i feel this shud be the way or else things will fluctuate and we can be never be at peace right??

Well for such situations were currency fluctuates just to be on the safe side one should try to show just a little extra money like a 1000 CADs extra to cover such fluctuations. I hope if cic feels that the fall in rupee is significant they might ask to resubmit a current bank statement on a later stage. Assuming post sending the application u must have saved some more funds..

Yes, right. But I think to be at safer side and conservative, a person while calculating exchange rate, should consider devaluation; in other way, he should show few hundred CAD more to tackle devaluation. We don't know the date CIC will consider to calculate exchange rate.
