guys, may CC has been charged! just in time when my credit card has been reactivated lol.... as per confirmation from the bank, it was charged July 2, pls update the spreadsheet.

congratulation to all those whose payment is taken by CIC. The pace of working of CIC is very slow. What they might have doing there without working on our application. Quite disappointing week.

Anyways, let us be hopeful for upcoming days.

Dear jigzyyy & johnnyzee....!!!!!

thank u thank u for your reply in such a short time..... :) :) :)

Now i know what is PER. :D

i feel much better now...

By mistake I mentioned "CIO Sydney" as the answer to Q4 on IMM008..
I should have mentioned it as "London".

so r u mentioning that if they issued positive eligibility review & UCI, there will be no issue for this mistake ???

What are next steps after PER & UCI?

please guide me if your expert in this regard, as i did not hire any consultant or lawyer for my application.. ??? ???

regards,

>:( on behalf of all women everywhere...Jigzyy we are not THAT hard to please. Just get me my PR Card and I'll be as happy as can be.

Positive Eligibility Review = Passed eligibility & MI instructions. Makes thru and payments are not refundable.
Negative Eligibility Review = Failed in one or both of MI, Eligibility. Amount is refunded IF charged [like, VO reviewing and charged simultaneously], else will get the DD / CC back.

But there are two other kind of reviews too.

Positive Substituted Eligibility Review = Example, someone fails in scoring 67 by a margin of 1 or 2 marks, but according to VO or the 2nd person that is reviewing again, he/she can substitute the NER to PER by providing reference that he/she thinks that this applicants can settle economically in Canada. Very rarely done.

Negative Substituted Eligibility Review = Example, someone passed 67 & MI, BUT according to VO's, if he/she thinks that applicant MAY NOT become economically establish in Canada, then they may send this review. Things that may cause this and are not limited to this is old age applicants. There was a case on this forum.

I reread the manual just now, and this is what I understand.

  • Receive application & date stamp it
  • Completeness Check
  • Ministerial Instructions Check
  • Eligibility Check
  • Record in the system that file is received
  • Enter Federal Skilled - 1
  • Goes for CC / DD
  • Assign & write UCI on the paper file
  • Send email of PER to the applicant

May be we are taking it wrong THAT after completeness its payment. Remember Sachin's case? He got his file returned that he missed the sign AND job duties does not match. This is only possible IF above steps are true.

Well, on the one hand this kinda supports jigzyy's hypothesis regarding the current process: Fee encashement = guaranteed PER/ VO transfer.
On the other hand, a NER after fees being collected (God forbid!) would contradict this.

Fee encashement == guaranteed PER/ VO transfer. ? That is my question.
