What is the process to get PCC from Indian consulate in USA? I tried to read Chicago consulate website but it is not very clear.

Can someone tell me what document to submit and estimated processing time?
I want to get PCC (From Indian consulate and FBI) ready before VO asks for it.

you need to fill the misc app form..mentioned on the page you noted below along with other required docs...i dont remember exactly what all i submitted. but i think
i submitted
1) bunch of photographs + misc app form
2) copy of passport

you need to take your passport initially which will be returned to you right away after checking. and you need to take it back when pcc is ready. They generally call you once pcc is ready. You can send it via mail also if you are not in chicago.


I got it in 2 days....my passport was issued by chicago consulate... but it might vary depending on case to case. I hope this helps.
