Hi all.

Congrats to all who cc & dd got charged.
I too am waiting for my cc.
Have one issue here.
I did not mention my noc code on the envelope but mentioned noc category.
Will this cause issues & did any one have done same and got there cc charged.

It should not be an issue. I was waiting to hear from you on your CC charge. It appears CC charges to applicants from India is taking some time. From the case of Nirmal - our forums opening batsman,he received the news of cc charge earlier today.

When many pages are filled in short time in this thread then you can be sure that there is some update either cc charged, dd encashed, cic update, application returned etc

In the document list, session 8, there is a requirement for "Proof of admission"

"If the visa office you have specified for processing your application is not the visa office responsible for your country of nationality, provide proof that you are lawfully admitted for a period at least one year to a country for which the specified visa office is responsible"

It may be a stupid question but can anyone let me know what does this mean?

My visa office is outside of my country...

For example, I am from india but living and working in the US on a visa. I chose my visa office to be CPP-O and not New Delhi. Since I chose CPP-O CIC is looking for my visa document as a proof that I am lawfully admitted to the US.

Can I send the new application after rejection of prev application under 2013 FSWP quota?
I am planning to get updated letter from my employer if I am rejected..and apply fresh..

Just want to know does CIO keeps reference of previous application like do they take a copy and keep for records..
any one any clue?

Naturally -Yes. Else people would modify and send back. Everything is stored elecronically

You are right, but i also didn't know if my application is on it's way back to me...and my credit card charges i can see only after 72 hours!!

I am also in the same boat as you. Neither CC charged nor application returned.
