I guess it's only for first week. But still, it's pretty lower than expected.

My general feel has always been, that people in this forum this year represent much more than mere 5% of the total population. In my opinion, it is as high as 30-50%. Lets see.

In other words, I believe people who have submitted their app till 1st week of June (at least) will make it to the cap.

2/26 is about 7%... so actually really close to the 5% estimate.

It means, that actually we will see which day a certain NOC gets capped.

But that doesn't make much sense, since they wouldn't have received any applications on May 4th - the package wouldn't have reached them on that day, besides it was a Saturday.

May 4 is a dummy date I guess. It was Saturday and CIO + Courier deliveries to offices are not operated on Sat.

Oh yeah! I meant people in the three hottest NOCs (2174/2147/1112) probably have a very good chance at least till 10th June or so, in some cases, could be even later.
For other NOCs, they will make it even one month from now!

I think most people still have a chance. Mistakes may have been made by others, documents left out, not certified etc. We are applying under 2243 which seems to be one of the unpopular NOCs and we haven't sent in the application as yet.

I just confirmed from my bank, they confirmed me just now that today CIO has charged 1400 CAD$...........so happy today and wish everybody a good luck.

I don't think it was as of May 4th. Would have been almost impossible to get it to them then, also, they updated forms on May 4th too.

I believe this is the amount of applications with confirmed cashed fees.

I agree...also not to forget the fact that they updated the IMM008-Economic Classes form on may 4th so technically all applications recieved on May 4th should be rejected due to use of old economic class form (just as Marta's case)...so it kinda doesn't make sense that they actually recieved 26 completed applications on may 4th! Weird!

Your date is 28th May. I have a feel (and wish 1000%) that you'd make it.

See, 4th May may be a dummy date. Lets say May 7-8 for 26 apps. This is mostly from consultants who sent stuff from within Canada to CIC. They always know the fastest route.

We got to watch for one more round of update to know what exactly is the case.

Does this mean we made it within the CAP ?????????? :'(

I don't know but what is written there is bot accurate for sure:-
- First Pharmacistfarhan is applying under NOC 2131 and he's been charged, so how it comes they say no application received for this NOC
- Second, still the footer shows date 3-5-2013!!! not even showing the update is when.

What i think about that they are still working on this update, it's not finished yet, we still have to see some numbers coming
