I do believe we could get a cap update even without members here getting their CC's charged, we are after all a small percentage of the overall applications, we don't know whats going on elsewhere. And I am pretty sure that by now at least 3, and possibly as much as 4 (spreadsheet stats says 5) caps may be presently filled.

All I know is that I understand why we are required to do a medical (physical) check but no psychological check is required for FWSP. To successful go through the process you must have nerves of steel and know how to progress through stressful situations, as well as cope with a high levels of anxiety :D :D

Updated. Happy Waiting Now.

jigzyy, on the spreadsheet in the tab "application count by date", the formulae in line 13 don't seem to be working. Perhaps worth having a look? Thanks.

Haha! But do we really think there will be a cap update even if people have not be charged the processing fee? Highly unlikely.

That's y happy dreaming...

I am trying to create a similar table for NOC 1112 as I believe the total cap is irrelevant for this category. Need to focus on how fast the 300 sub-cap is/was reached. Will share it once I am done...

Dear All

If you are interested to know what happens to our applications at CIC stage by stage, please go through this official and very informative document

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

Hope it will clarify lots of points which we are discussing with each other

I have started to take a look at the OP 6c – Federal Skilled Worker Class – Applications received on or after May 4, 2013 (PDF, 553 KB) posted above, it's an interesting read, so far I have taken note of the following statement (section 9, page 10):

Note: Applications are date stamped upon receipt at the CIO and then checked for completeness in order by date of receipt. The “application received” date at the CIO is the lock-in date. Processing offices should therefore maintain the application received date from the time of the applicant's initial submission to the CIO, and process the application to conclusion.

Upload it some where, get the direct url, insert it in between

By the way, CIC's bulletins and manuals can be found here :

Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Canada Border Services Agency employees consult operational bulletins (OBs) and manuals for guidance in the exercise of their functions and in applying the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Citizenship Act and their Regulations.

Operational bulletins and manuals

The Overseas Processing (OP) operational manuals from which irfanyusuf referenced the OP 6c – Federal Skilled Worker Class – Applications received on or after May 4 document can be found under the Overseas Processing (OP) section of the page.

My preliminary (and possibly very wayward analysis of NOC 1112 based on apps received). I have assumed an acceptance rate of 75%.

Nice Analysis. Have you done it online? Mind if you could share with me, so that I can add it to the spreadsheet ?

jigzyy - I have attached an extra sheet in the file. Link is below. You can easily replicate for the different NOCs. Also, I would change spill.over received date to 24 May in the tracking sheet so as to capture his details in the analysis (analysis excluded files received on weekends). Hope this helps.
