I am single, do not use representative, no child, and never travel to another country so I think I don't need to fill these forms below. Am I right? Or I have to fill all while have to written not applicable?

Additional_Dependant_Declaration
use_of_representative
Travel_Information
Common_law_union
Minor_immigration

you are right.
However, even if you did not travel abroad, you still have to fill out the Travel-Information form (write "did not travel").

Dear Friends,

As an example, I have extracted timelines of 12 completed cases (New Delhi Visa Office) from the 2011 FSWP spreadsheet. Sorted by NOC. Can anyone deduce any information about the way CIC process applications. Do they process in batches as they receive / as per NOC / or by any other significant factors?

Can anyone apply appropriate statistical methods and analyze the data from the spreadsheet? If I do it, I am not sure if I end up correctly. Statistics is not my forte. ;)
You can find the csv data of this excel sheet pasted below.

Hey amayra, I called them 4-5 times at this number. They normally respond after an hour or so. I tried yesterday too to check for any update but they didn't respond this time. Most likely they stopped responding for that day.
The number is: +1 416-972-0070

I think it really depends on the NOC.

My friend who applied in last years fswp in the physiotherapy stream from UK got canadian PR in less than 4 months. where as applicants under NOCs like chefs and management got delayed, or at least this is what I heard

His VO was N.Delhi.

But then again they were accepting over 10,000 apps last year. so its very hard to say

I also heard stories that having work exp from developed nations are preferred over developing nations, as its easily verifiable by the VO.

Seriously dont bother calling WES, they never answer and keep you on hold for hours. try filling out their online contact form.
they shud respond after 2 weeks. thats what happened in our case at least

Ohhhh my my.... As days are passing by after sending in the application, more and more silly mistakes I have done in filling in the forms are surfacing....... anyone from the forum has a point of view on the below mentioned dilemma please....

Got a Confusion for the family name filling for spouse in the Generic Form... My wife's passport does not mention any Family Name (it is blank) and when I was filling in the generic form, it was not validating till I enter something in this field.. so we wrote her complete name under the given name section in form (so that it matches exactly as is in the passport) and wrote the last name (as already in the given name) again in the field for Family name in form.

A cover letter mentioning the same in detail was also attached in the application...

I just got info from another forum member that CIC website has an explanation for those who do not have a surname mentioned in the passport . It says... """"""If you do not have a surname on your passport, travel or identity document, enter all your given name(s) in the surname field, write “not applicable” or “N/A” in the given name field."""""""

Do you think what I did in my form will be a problem.. There was nothing in the guide/checklist and I tried a lot to search this info but unfortunately never landed on the CIC website page which mentions this..

I really don't know what to do here as my application has already reached CIC.

You have explain same in cover latter than it should work for this case... rest depends on officer who will check your applicaiton. He has to satisfy by your explanation in cover letter.. Dont worry it will get through.

i am so happy , my application has already been rcvd yesterday..
Do you think NOC 2134 has already reached the CAP? Hope my application got there on time :D

I have a friend who wants to apply for same NOC (2134) but she has not yet started processing on anything... like WES, IELTS etc... :(
i dont want to discourage her, but her consultant didn't advise her on anything, she doesn't have any idea on CAP.. she relies on what her consultant tells her.
I told her to read this forum and CIC website, just to give her some idea.

No updates from CIC....I am starting to wonder are we using the right link to follow number of applications received??

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

Is this the correct link to follow?

CIC might be verifying ECA with WES and we all know abt d services of WES...
It might be taking more time due to this reason.

How much faster, Floxzy? Do you know when you applied and when they got back to you?

Anyone else feel free to chip in with your ECA processing times (:

I want to know about "ICAS file Number" in "Transcript request form" which needs to be submitted to university when applying for Sealed cover of documents, stamped with registrar.

Is it mandatory to fill "ICAS file number"?
My agent told me that ICAS will email me the number upon reaching of my documents.

Note: i had filled form without ICAS file number and the cover containing it is already sent to ICAS for ECA.

Please reply ASAP.

It should be in second part with payment deduction.... first part is document check for completness of your application..... Till date no one has reported of payment deduction by CIC, so they are sleeping/busy with backlog...
