I doubt strongly this post is true. I am not even sure if well calculated, he would get a score of 67 although he is claiming 67 on points. Please we should just ignore him and wait for the real news which I expect to start pouring in in another 1o working days. I said 10 because we are placing a minimum and not too sure myself. CIC is doing a tough job sorting loads of documents from almost all countries of the world including the USA

Agreed ... he's faking
Reason 2. his Application "Received" on 25 May .. which is Saturday, neither the courier would despatch the package for delivery on Sat nor 'MIKE' (the recipient) would be working overtime on Sat :D

Hey Islandbabe and Jigzy

Perhaps we can set up a FAQ tab on the spreadsheet with responses to the common questions asked. This way we can avoid repeating ourselves.

It would be the first 300 that have filled out the form correctly, signed where required and have all the required documents. all has been stated earlier in forum. I always advise new members "if possible" read the last 50 pages of a forum. It can be quite informative and useful.

100% will not work...They will still ask :) Sad but true. Will talk to Jigzzy about it.

Maybe we can set up a link to answers for FAQ and the Immigration process step by step...hmmm

Or we can jointly create a blog on which we could publish the general consensuses on different questions. So we can fight about it on the forum and then nicely publish the results. :P

Heyy people... A question on credit card usage by CIC... Maybe someone from banking sector can clarify...

If i do an online transaction using my CC, it asks for 3D secure pin ( this is not CVV but another layer of security for online transactions in India... Not sure about other countries) OR one time password (OTP) which comes to my phone to authenticate the transaction...

When CIC enters my CC details to chrge, will this effect ..... I just used my credit card for online shopping and this came up..now i' m scared like hell ' cause if a 3D secure pin is asked when CIC is charging my credit card then credit card payment will be declined ......

Or since i've authorised them by signing the forms, it should not be the same as online transactions and should be fine ...

Seniors .. Please clarify

This whole scenario of gathering doc., filling forms, following up with the courier, and now WAITING for any sign, it is reminding me of the difference between marathons and sprinting !
while sprinting mandates quick starts, the former crucial element for success is Endurance.
we are all in the cic marathon ..
Stay strong and whatever happens is THE BEST
Cheers :)

i think that they will not be requiring any pin or password to charge the amount from cc.

HI ,
I have confirmed this with the bank and they said that they would be using a different system where they would not need the 3D secure password or OTP. Its similar to, when we used our CC on WES site. It never asked for any 3D secure or OTP just with CVV it processed the payment.
