Congrats! You can now sleep well but for most of us still waiting for the good news :'(..I'm just wondering why Marta didn't get this news since her/ his application is the earliest received by CIC..
Wooo...Congrats! But I am quite surprised why other Cc users do not report, especially those early birds! Maybe tonight we will hear more news! Good news is that CIC begin work, looks like we will see cap number tonight! Bad news is when will I know my DD is encashed? 555...

I have the same question... I don't think the banks would inform us when the DD is encashed.. any ideas on this?

Yahooooooo, at last good news for me.........
NOC: 1112
CC Charged: May 30, 2013
Time: 3.30 PM

This most likely means our estimations are hugely underestimated, that is - the 1112 applications on forum are much bigger part of total applications, than just %4.

Good for you.

But when i put my second thought i felt it's so weird.
1. Dose CIC sign any package on Sat? Since May 25th was a Sat.
2. It is hard to make me believe that there is only one was charged on that day among the whole forum.
I suppose there should be a group of people were charged in the same day.
3. It dose not make any sense that earlier received applicants are not charged first.

I may be too sensitive. I hope this news is for real.

2 to 3 % of total applications at CIC

Congratz to spill.over :o
I pray you are not trolling us? on the CC charged part? :o
I wonder what happened to the applications that were received earlier in that category.

I have the same case so i can share my opinion with you .
I have worked for 4 companies also in the last 10 years and i couldn't get my first job experience letter, what i think about is that, in worst case scenario, they won't count this experience in your experience points, so if you need these points it will be a big problem. But if you have more than 6 years experience, documented and including the job you are applying for, it won't be a problem.

what do you think?!

For all the cases where a person,
a) could not acquire a letter at all from one or more of the previous employer(s),
b) could get a letter of reference but without the job roles mentioned on it,

need to provide a self declared affidavit from the notary public.

Wow, congratulations! You've given me a tiny morcel of hope given my app was received 24th and I'm expecting the CAP to be filled.
If you don't mind my asking - what does it come through as on the credit card - is it "Receiver General" or something?

I agree with you totally....Neither CIC nor courier companies in Canada work on weekend..All applications present in tracker sheet were received on working days not on sat or sunday except that of spill.over....Only spill.over can spill the beans on this matter :-)

They obviously work in batches. I think they just took a batch of first 3 weeks (25th is when spill.over's paper were received and that is exactly 21 days from 4th), that batch was less than 300 (or so) and they said - this batch is surely within cap, so let's start with it. And then they charged the first from the top :)

So Marta could actually come among the last in that batch ;)

I will start to mention what I had advised myself on these :D
1- Your exact current occupation as it appears on the other forms (background declaration)
(Sometimes you get the impression that the cic forms are meticulously structured to double check some info)
2- You can choose any title as long as it matches the intended NOC –
For spouse: any profession which matches his/her education/ experience
3- Both are original copies
4- Definitely
5- No – and same goes for any irrelevant form (additional dependants/ declaration for non accompanying parent- common-law partner)
6- Take care to fill ALL THE FORM blank spaces including the counting of the no of applicants in the boxes!
Signature
Best of luck !

I hope spill.over is correct, but I do note that on May 27, 2013, 01:34:53 pm he made a post that suggests he may still be completing forms?
