You're right - but CIC do want the only original you have. And IELTS knows that too but still will never ever give you 2 copies of same certificate. How else would they get another $200 ?

Not to mention that it lasts for only 2 years, which is a nonsense on its own.

I have one question - Since my application was received, does that mean that quota for my NOC has not been filled and CIC is accepting application. or they are just receiving all applications and they will preform count later, which can result in rejection of applications that were received in later dates?

No that just means an ordinary person called 'Stephenson' received your application! Nothing is know for cap yet until CIC updates the website.

If you are not claiming points for 2nd employer , then go ahead.......nothing to worry

You have enough proof of employment.......attach a covering letter detailing job role and duties of 2nd employer

Thanks coolguy2010

Please include all the details + experience letter of 2145. As far current is concerned. Attach the experience letter AND/OR contract or few months pay slips and add a cover letter and mention your problem about it. The letter must have current employer's details so if they want to contact, they can contact them.

That should do it.It'll only be used to calculate points.

Thanks jigzyy

Added Hero, however you have quite a bit of information still outstanding, go through the spreadsheet and update us please.

Often times for "Fee" I see people list "CC" or "DD".

I assume "CC" means Credit Card and "DD" Direct Debit?

Can anyone say if there are any advantages/disadvantages to using CC or DD? If yes, what are those advantages/disadvantages?

Wow, I think you are one of very few. Probably it has something to do with the fact that you're in UK and that UK has laws that force UK institutions to not withhold any data that they have on a citizen.

I'm not really that much knowledgeable of UK law system, but I have read one case when someone needed a copy but couldn't get it from IELTS and in the end he did get it by calling upon that same law and threatening to sue them if they don't honor it.
Unless it was all made up, of course - but it's online so it must be true. :)

No. As a landed immigrant, you can live freely anywhere in Canada except Quebec. It doesn't matter.

I believe you can live *anywhere* after you land, including Quebec, if you're on FSW.
It was only that if you go through Quebec skilled worked (which I almost did last year, but they stopped it :() - you must state that you plan to live in Quebec and nowhere else. But even then you can move later.

To live in Quebec, to need to get CSQ, which of course you can get it later on once you are in Canada. As far QSW is concerned, you need to live at least 6 months or something like this in Quebec to complete the requirements.

DD is demand draft...
