Wasnt an assumption.....rather a fact! coz I had applied in 2011 and my application reached there on 8th of July. I received a letter in December 2011, dated as of August 2011 notifying me that my application is being returned due to my application reaching there when the CAP of 500 applications was met.

So yes, last time NOC 1122 got filled within a week, but it took them forever to inform everyone. But CIC hadnt updated on the website of the NOC being filled within a week. Dont remember exactly after how long they updated.

I really hope that the cap fills less quicker this year. Some parts of me says it will and another part says everyone relatively has the same circumstances, so it would be filled like 2011. I hope not though, as mine was in Sydney on 7th day.
What do you guys think?

Also, it seems that CIO opens around 9am everyday, not 8am or 8:30am... Just noticed it as it's important for me to know to see if my application will survive the cap duel! 10:20am is not too bad I guess.

I read in the CIC website that there was some Action Plan 2012, to clear up the backlog applications which amounted to 1.5 mil and that the back log was nearly eliminated. Does that mean all the CHC offices are now free enough to work on our applications.

Any thoughts on this guys?
