why do you want to call cic? they wont give you the updates on cap count. they probably dont even know the count yet.
all you can do at this point is just wait and watch....

Tomorrow it will go to Mississauga than Dieppe NB than Goffs NS. It will stay there for another 24 hours and than day after tomorrow, it'll be delivered. You cannot expedite it, there's no way FedEx will deliver before Wednesday. I have suffered these delays too, and had to call everyday, just to get someone who can tell me how to make it a priority!
 
Well, this happened to me a few days back.

The solution is, wait for few minutes (10-30 mins, may be). Then try again. But however, unless you have a UIC or some number for your case, nobody will be able to help you.

you lucky people, I am sending mine by the end of this week, I think the cap will be reached by today already

For all of you that sent the application on 4th of May and did not include the new Generic application form!(because it was not yet up-dated)!!!

I just call CIC and explained the situation, the operator said that our applications would not be returned if the application form is old!!!
He advised me not to send another application package.

Glad you don't have to resend the application. I too feel it's partly their fault for not updating the application before May 3rd 00:00 hrs
