i think this is more appropriate.. but instead of light green use any any color which can b easily differentiated..

Color shade should be same which ever is selected by admins (of course they are quite capable ). make it more properly visible. you may put it in light and dark shade for CC/DD... just to differentiate.

No, but I leave it blank, as I was not sure what should it be...Then i validate the paper and it works fine.. (As a result i forget to write)....

If we did not write anything, the paper can be validated and you will get the BAR codes as well...

Finally after calling like 7 times I was able to get my UCI no. (that too from a guy) but he refused to give my any further information.

Just a tip don't ask for status of your application, just request them to provide you with Client ID so that you can check the status on your own on ECAS.

I am still waiting for my CC Charge and really not sure why its getting delayed.

I have same issue before, good thing after reaching home i was able to read on this forum regarding Visa Office Name. I immediately checked my application form and called DHL to hold first my documents and print new generic form with SG as Visa Office Name.

Not sure why it was validated even Visa Office name was not filled.

Maybe seniors can help advise on this.

I submitted 2 applications. The first one arrived CIC on 10 May but I did not choose VO in this application. Then I submitted the second one, of 16 May. My CC is charged last night, but I am not sure which application is chosen. If it's for the first one, do you think they will charge for the second one?

Analyzing the spreadsheet, definitely his first application is charged in which he did not choose visa office.

HI ALL !!!

I received email from CIC today mentioning my UCI. . I had applied on 9th May 2013.

But, just now i was going through copy of forms that i had couriered.

And i noticed by mistake i mentioned " CIO, Sydney" as Immigration office as the answer to Q.4 on IMM0008 form.

Which i think is wrong. I just read on the posts that i should have written the country of my nationality and not CIO, Sydney.

I am really worried now. Can some expert please help me out ??? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will CIC return my application to resubmit or do the corrections themselves ?

Mailtej mentioned CIO-SYDNEY as visa office instead of London still he received PER.


I think to be on the safe side it will be better if you send one complete new package again as your NOC is cold and your new application might be within cap as well.

If a credit card is charged..does that mean An applicant has met the criteria against ministerial instructions? or that is only determined after we receive PER email?
Is there a chance that a person might not get PER after getting charged?
Would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this..

@ prince_of_darkness - I agree with you up to a certain point. But you must also accept that this year's FSW seems to work with its own methodology. Going by what we have seen so far, there has been no NER. I read the manual 10 times (so has jigzyy) and we could not come to a proper conclusion. Hence we assume that PER = CC charge + 10 days or so!

Hi Admins/Seniors/All that already have PER,

Please help with an opinion in following situation:

In my NOC Letter of Reference from the employer are included my position, the period of employment, the fact that for the earned income were paid legal taxes (the monthly sum is not specified) and a fully description of job; it's not included the number of hours worked per week.
I have another Letter of Reference taken from Retirement Insurer where are included my exactly income and monthly contribution paied by employer and the number of hours worked per week during the period of employment.

Could this be a problem that could generate file reject on "Incomplete Letter of Reference"?
