prince_of_darkness - I totally understand but you still seem a bit down. Why is that so my friend? You should be out celebrating your PER!

People on the forum are very anxious and we need to all be strong and positive. So in the interests of all, pls let's all try to keep gloomy views about cap or process away. I know that some of the stuff discussed is probably true but let's face that reality when the dust settles. For now, we need to celebrate the CC/DD charges and PERs!!

After CC charged is it a guarantee to receive a PER? If not, on what basis you might get a NER instead?

@ prince_of_darkness - I agree with you up to a certain point. But you must also accept that this year's FSW seems to work with its own methodology. Going by what we have seen so far, there has been no NER. I read the manual 10 times (so has jigzyy) and we could not come to a proper conclusion. Hence we assume that PER = CC charge + 10 days or so!

**ADMIN PLS UPDATE**

I received a message from Momad (1112, 09-May). Unfortunately, his application was returned (he got his documents back last Saturday). The reasons mentioned were:

1. Incorrect schedule 3 form (used the old form as of april 28th)
2. birth certificate copy not submitted (the birth certificate copy was there in the returned doc set. they had not looked properly)
3. Educational qualification evaluation not attached (still awaiting the service provider to send evaluation certificate)

We wish him good luck in the future.

I have seen previously also that the applicant have submitted document though they got application back with reason with the same not submitted!!!!!!!

You are right, I'm not in spreadsheet yet and won't be there this year.. Actually I came to know about FSW very late i.e. in last week of jun or something and I belong to 2174, So, din't take chance of preparing the docs and exams and all. I have approx. 9+ Years of Pure Technical Experience with ASP.NET, SQL Server, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, SharePoint & MVC. And I don't have any client from Canada, which can send me employment letter

But you guys enjoy there on Spreadsheet.. I maybe there next year for sure.

Guys one Interesting Thing I noticed in the Google Spreadsheet for Category : 2174

Total Apps Received in Forum : 145
Forum NOC Charged : 046
CIC NOC Charged : 051

So it means out of 51 Charged NOC by CIC, 46 are from our forum only, which is around 90% of the charged one.

Now, our spreadsheet shows only 145 apps received by forum. Now lets consider once again this as 90% of overall received in CIC.

So, CIC should have received 161 Applications only. The Cap is 300. So, Inspite of being Hot (2174) It should not be more than 161.

I'm just putting this calculation based on the spreadsheet. I might be wrong. Seniors, Please give some valuable suggestions. (I've not yet applied in 2174 )

We have brainstormed it in our earlier discussions. Taking into consideration the last update on CIC site and data from xls, it appears that folks whose applications have reached CIO office as late as 2nd week of july should be able to make it. However, if there is a dramatic shift in next cap update from CIC, situation could be very different. lets not get into data analysis too much and keep our fingers crossed.

I was in a similar situation. I ordered for ECA from WES on April 23rd and sent documents the next week.
But I made a mistake making the order, I selected the basic evaluation instead of the FSW one.
I sent the one copy of evaluation I received to CIC(for FSW package you get two copies of evaluation).
I thought I was fine until someone from this forum reported last week that they got a mail from WES last week saying CIC is not able to view the evaluation online. Then only I realized my mistake and went to WES online account on July 18th and ordered a copy with CIC as recipient.
I selected the regular mail since all I wanted was to make the report available online for CIC.
The status for this report was in progress for 3 days and completed on 23rd July.

The status looks like the screenshot you provided now but the amount I paid is 67.80$ (may be since I opted regular mail).

I hope I have done the right thing and I am eagerly waiting for updates from CIC. My app reached on 23rd May.

I faced the similar situation and posted on the forum last week. I paid $85 extra for ordering a duplicate copy. Please dont select any fastest mode of payment for more money, because you have already sent the originals to CIC along with your application. So just order a simple duplicate copy via regular post, the benefit is that CIC will get access to the online copy of your WES report and this is the only thing you need to get PER.
