Hi, I have also applied as self employed, all I did was that I got the experience letter written from the company i work for. the one who gave me my contract. its just a normal experience letter like any job letter.
3rd party ,means the organisation that gave you the contract to work for, .
for example:
I am the director of my own company registered as ::: YYY
A company named ZZZ hires my company YYY to perform a job.
so I am self employed.
The 3rd party here means company ZZZ.
SO u have to get a reference letter from ZZZ ( in the prescribed formant required by CIC)

Can anybody suggest what documents are needed to show for the "self employed" part of my work experience as checklist says 3rd party documents. kindly help me with this part what third party means. I have 5 years exp of NOC 2282 as "User Support" as self employed with returns and registration of my firm with me but this concept of 3rd party is not making sense to me. Thanks for all the help so far.

Why do you guys speculate, esp. on the negative stuff, when you know that no one but CIC knows about the cap? So let's just be positive and patient. If it is meant to be, it shall work out

The CIO officers assigned for 2174 are on vacation! Just kidding I hope it's not filled yet. I'm on 24th May and have been trying to stop my self from visiting this forum but I can't . If cap is filled, they will most likely get their website updated. That will save them time.

That's a very good question !!! I also have a validation code required for payments over the internet ...

just an ideea: try to speak with a supervisor, and if it is no use, go further to a superior... this rules have exceptions if you deal with the appropriate guy with the appropriate position...

Hi tolete, was any UCI no. Given to your friend. If yes, could he pls. Check as to what his ECAS status is showing? Does it identify his UCU? A very basic query, whose response could clarify a lot of thing! Could u pls get it clarified from ur friend.

I friend of mine had his application returned recently, but every single document was punched. Any idea what does it mean? or any forum member had this situation?

Anyway, he applied once again; the reason for his rejection was due to his work experience letter that did not comply with the requirements.


Please, let me know if anyone had the same case.
