Sorry to say that there no basis for that..or anything...this forum is a gathering of 500 odd people and things are inferred from the experiences that the forum people have...if same things have similar trends ..the inference is drawn..in your case you are a 21st May applicant and no one from your NOC has been charged so far for 21st May application. So you need not worry and wait for 2-3 days for your CC to get charged. Currently 21-22nd May applicants are being charged.

Hi All,

I tried calling number 1-613-944-4000 from India and when I select option 2 for immigration it says caoonecting to CIC and after some time I am getting message like the toll free number is not available in your area.

Many people have reported same issue. Can anyone tell is there any other way to contact CIC by phone

I called the CIC Customer Care as mentioned in the steps below, i was able to talk to a agent within a minute and she said that i need wait which i knew but gave a try to have an experience.

When i asked about the UCI number she said she wont be able to help outside Canada applicants they can only ans to inside Canada applicants and if i want to know any further updates then i need to write an email to Nova Scotia office.

To Reach CIC Customer :

Call at – 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback.
