Dear Friend Raj,

I can understand your feelings at this moment. You have just encountered a significant disappointment of your life and people here are asking questions to satisfy their own curiosities. But please be cool and proceed carefully as you still have a chance. Even if the cap is filled, it's not the end of the road. You have a Canadian education and you must have lot of opportunities.

Remember one thing, which I firmly believe. THE LIFE WILL TAKE YOU THERE, WHERE YOU ARE DESTINED TO GO. Some people will consider this a pessimistic attitude and may argue that one's efforts make one's destiny. But this belief nowhere implicates that do not make any efforts. That's why, I have applied this year but without any results expectations and believe me, I am OK with this and not going thru sleepless nights.

Without speculating too much regarding CIC's internal working and their pace, I would prefer to rely on mathematics to make myself comfortable.

a) As per current numbers shared by CIC for NOC 2174 - Out of 51 accepted applications 38 were from this forum ;D A lion's share of 75%.
b) As per the spreadsheet 40 more applicants for NOC 2174 are ahead of me (My App Received 5th June 2013)
c) So now assuming all of this 40 application are selected and considering that our forum members will have at-least 50% (being practical) share till CIC reaches my application, numbers could look like this if CIC publishes number after processing my application

Total Forum application accepted: 78 (38+40)
Total CIC application accepted : 156 (50 % from Forum and 50 % rest )
Rest of applications : 78

Now applying the same logic there are approx 138 applicants from our forum and considering that forum applications will atleast constitute 45% of total CIC application accepted we will be well within 300 (138/0.45) CAP

So guyz just take a chill pill and hope for the best.

Ok l reached home and checked the envelop.nothing on it..for sure the envelop from cic has uline.com and a toll free number..but they seem to supply these reclosable bags..now theres my address on the front and a note mentioning postage paid and a small note for customs..it mentions from cic, 196 George street Sydney NS B1P 1J3 to address date, postage paid gross weight and $1.00

I'm sure CBSA has ransacked my package at Customs because inside the packet there is another blank envelop with my details on it..and no where there is a reference number, passport number file number there's no bar code even..so much for a dollar spent by CIC

Now I am really bothered here. If Raj's Application that was sent in June and returned in July has been received in India already, does that mean those whose application haven't been returned and who submitted earlier in May and yet haven't got their cc charged have lost their applications in transit or something?

I have already been charged from my credit card on 27th June of 1100 CAD, but still not received my PER. Just wanted to know how much more time does this actually take? I am bit concerned ??? ... so plz help me on this...
