Do CIC provides UCI number on visitor visas. I visited Canada few years back for a week on a visitor visa. There are a whole bunch of numbers on that visa page and I could not figure out which one of them could be the UCI number. The reason I'm asking is because I submitted by FSW 2013 application with the older schedule 3 form. I did not resubmit the new form because I felt it'll be of little use since my application may have probably been buried under the thousands of application they received. There will be no way they will be able trace my original application and attach my resubmission. Seems like there is little chance for it if I have a UCI number. My question is if they have issued me a UCI number on my visitor visa how do I find it and how does a UCI looks like. You guys are doing a great job in this forum !!.

Hello Everyone..Just got an SMS that my CC is charged for 1100 CAD by immigration Canada.Thanks to almighty.

Just few things to clear some dust on few questions:

1). I have sent the class 10 th Mark-sheet as proof for Birth certificate (For Indian applicants).
2). I have informed my bank well in advance for approval of this transaction and told them no need to confirm if ttransaction happens from CIC etc.I am taking full responsibility if something goes wrong.

That was so assuring that CIC will not reject application on this basis.

Balkanada, you are in the first stage-anxiety. I've been through it too. I've been visiting CIC web-page every hour too, wasting my working and free time, checking every post here and so on. Felt angry and frustrated about all this.
Just move to second stage, man.
Make fun of your waiting time here, make fun of CIC, make fun of yourself, make fun of others. It feels much better from my personal experience.

And by the way, I totally agree with you, that CIC sacks and these assholes shoudda update their cap count long time ago and do not torture innocent and hard-working people like you and me. You are so right! ;D

Hi, all, just let u know I got reply from CIC on my enquiry send on 6/19 when I am eager to know my application.
So it takes 18 working days to get their answer to my status.
They said"our office send u An email on July 2 nd"
Haha, isn't funny to see this email after get PER? What should I reply them?

The PER comes from centralized-intake-office@CIC.gc.ca.
The reply enquiry comes from CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@CIC.gc.ca.

Just Let ppl know that if ur application is sent at least 6 weeks before, u can try to enquiry ur status and get reply within 20working days as promised.

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback


I have tried this number so many times and the agents keep telling me they cant accesss the FSW system so they cant help. Am i missing out on something]

Which bank credit card you are using???I have used ICICI and for me also 3D secure pin blah blah has been activated and today only my CC got charged from CIC. The system they use will not ask for any passwords etc...I have informed my bank regarding the transaction and it processed smoothly.

I don't believe bank can behave like this saying no international transaction will be allowed..Talk to their managers. I have not used my credit card internationally anytime.

But I have used my other credit card online on international sites to check and the transaction was processed smoothly although they told me that they will decline the international transaction on this card.

It is HDFC. Tried an international transaction on ebay.com and it was successful
